Would make sense as the filming of Margo Gaffneys driving was all done in Canterbury on Myrtle Road/Warburton Rd intersection and hit and run in Dudley Pde. All 3 halfway houses are still around today too and the shoe factory. First is in Burwood Avenue Hawthorn, second Yarra St, Abbotsford, and third is in Lyndhurst Crescent Hawthorn

Judy needs to adopt a better sense of judgment if that halfway house is gonna succeed long term. Helping people like Maxine and Margo is not in either her's or the house's better interests. Lizzie is 73 but has to be at deaths door to be considered for parole. Unbelievable! What a bunch of swines they are!! Okay, she has messed up chances before, but last time that was partly because Sid died and she had nobody to help her. And in addition to that, she was being harassed by that obnoxious swine Gordon! This time could be different with Judy at the halfway house.
@1981Galadriel
@1981Galadriel 8 жыл бұрын
I think how Lizzie's being treated is absolutely ludicrous. Of the things she's faced convictions for, she was only actually guilty of the shoplifting. They should have gone easy on her simply because she had already lost 20 years of her life for nothing.
@8ballpoolking1
@8ballpoolking1 8 жыл бұрын
Merilee S It is rather frustrating. Lizzie is harmless and just needs the right level of support and she would easily be able to make a go of it. Up to now, she has always returned to jail off her own accord because the circumstances have not been in place for her to want to stay out of jail long term. As you said, she deserves better after what she went through with that poisoning business.
@markxxx21

Judy should have just ditched Maxine and grassed her up to the cops. Maxine is such an anyoing character. She keeps screwing up and saying sorry but continues to get herself and others around her in trouble. I would rather she didn't keep apologising as it clearly doesn't register in her brain as to how much grief she is causing to Judy.

Well I see they have Jude's mugshot on here for some reason. Why don't they put Lorna's instead? HA! "One hootchie cootchie dress."Doing that poor old woman act will just get you into a nursing home Lizzie. I read from someone on here that Sheila Florence was originally right handed, but when she was severely injured by a bomb falling on her home, killing her baby girl during WWII. They were trying to escape a bombing. She had to learn to eat, and write with her left hand. That's a horrible thing to happen to anyone. Then to top it off, she lost another daughter in the nineteen fifties. They say she went to her grave thinking the woman had jumped off a roof, but it turned out that she was murdered. Poor Sheila never got over the deaths of her daughters.

Yeah, Doreen's gone, after 303 episodes. Colette Mann decided it was time to leave PCBH, though it won't be the last we see of her.. It is said that as she, Bea and Lizzie were felt to be the back bone of the series at the time, Colette was greatly missed by all the crew and cast.

Margo won't care at all about the potential damage to the halfway house. She has always puts her own needs ahead of others and that's one of the reasons she made such a poor top dog during her short stint back when Bea had amnesia. That said, now she is on the run its a case of "needs must" more than anything. However, she is a fool for stealing the car and driving it so carelessly. She needed to remain more inconspicuous but now its almost inevitable she'll be picked up sooner rather later.
