redhairkid Yes, this is true but Angel's brand of evil is also especially chilling because she has NO REAL MOTIVES....she just tells lies, manipulates people, and ruins relationships by setting people against each other JUST BECAUSE SHE CAN! If someone does something in self-defense, even if it is violent or terrible --- it can be understood -- even if it may not be condoned. But EVIL just for the sake doing evil is mind-boggling to most people. Just think.....Angel burned her parents alive in their house and just walked away ---- only because she did not get something she wanted! Angel's grandmother said that Angel's parents had not mistreated her, beat her, or abused her in anyway.....they always gave her what she wanted --- so what was her motive for killing them?! She did it because she knew that she could do it ----- and get away with it --- since no one would believe that a young, sweet, pretty girl would do such a horrible thing! For Angel, everything seems to be some sort of macabre game where she is the winner --- with or without motives.

I think they made an error at 21:41. Mrs Barry lists all the things Angel had done and one of them was interfering with Judy's pacemaker. If i recall correctly that incident was never pinned on Angel and was just put down to Judy's I'll health.

Mostly first series.though I do remember some episodes from the last series (including the 'Finale' 692) I miss the old bunch: Bea,Lizzie,Doreen,Judy,Chrissie,Helen. I know Judy is still in* it. And I always thought Bea would be in it way after the rest of them☺ I thought Judy would have been the first to go out of the above mentioned😆 I think it would have been better had Judy discovered Angel had used that magnet🧲 to cause problems with Judys pace maker💔, then Judy could have had a go at Angel🤬😄 You're on 681. I read an interesting story when I bought Betty Bobbit's book, From The Outside. The whole book was very good, it tells of the cast members and the things they did. One story she tells was Jill Forster (Kerryn) and her real life husband were on holiday and her mum was watching their small daughter. There was some terrible fires in the state and they were trying to get home. They kept trying to call her mums house but they got no answer. When they finally arrived in town, they went to their home and to their relief, the little girl and her grandma were there. They evacuated the grandmothers house and the house burned down. So they were relieved to have their mum and daughter at their home instead of her's.

She was born here in America and moved to Australia in 1962, she moved briefly to England in 1964 and married and had a son named Christopher, then divorced and moved back to Australia, she had another son named Oliver in 1973. She was a single mum again by then and starred in television programs. She went to Grundy and tried out for the role of Bea Smith, but lost to Val Lehman, but later on, they hired her for Judy Bryant, but it was only supposed to be for thirteen episodes. The writers liked her so much they kept her for four years. After Prisoner, she moved briefly back to the US to see her family. She didn't stay long and was homesick and moved back to Australia. When she was in the US, she met her future partner Mig Dann. They have been together for at least twenty-five years.

Angel is one of the more memorable Wentworth villains. She’s macabre and vicious and that’s two in a row after psycho Bev. Geez Lou Kelly has come up through the ranks. She’s a main threat now. From an actor's point of view, one of the good things about Prisoner was how they let actors with minor parts come back and either play a new character or develop and expand their existing character. The actors who played Myra and Lou had both played other characters earlier in the series, and their current characters were all very minor until given a chance to take a bigger part. The actor who played Ann Reynolds had also played a small part as a screw in Barnhurst when Bea Smith was sent their the first time. Mrs. Barry had also been a very peripheral character and Reb's mother had appeared in small roles.

Angel was destined to end up in a psychiatric hospital, arguably that is where she should have been in the first place. Without the hair she looks like something which has been created for a horror movie! Bobbie gets out of one scrape and straight into another, she seems incapable of going straight and leading a normal life. I'm old enough to remember shampoo in glass bottles and even as a kid I didn't think it was the brightest thing in the world.That was back in the 60's though. I never remember seeing it in the 80's but maybe in Australia they still had some.

So predicatble, and so annoying. I can't stand Pixie or Kerryn but in my opinion these episodes are some of the best in the series. Non stop drama!
