I don't understand why the staff at Wentworth don't make more use of The Armoury. Burke holds Cruickshank hostage. If Anne or Meg had taken a firearm with them, then when they opened the cell door, seeing they were armed Burke would have surrendered

Only Ann might not have, but Meg, Joyce and the other officers would've. So, Ann could have stalled Burke, while Meg got weapons for everyone else. Meg and Mrs Slattery could easily have shot Burke in the leg, disarming him while Ann was distracting him.

Off all the times Dennis got the better of Frank, how the hell did Frank manage go from holding up abit of broken glass to him, to then being able to get something to tie him up with (having to use both hands)? That's a contradiction to all the previous scenes between those two.. Dennis would had been able to fight back no problem... If it was Joyce, ok Frank may had been able to succeed, but not with Dennis.

It still seems a ridiculous story line that a male prisoner who is a violent rapist would be a prisoner in a womens prison for ANY length of time or at all. I know there are coed prisons in some countries but Wentworth doesn't seem like it would thrive in that environment. American prisons have a little trap door to push food trays in and also to handcuff prisoners before entering a cell if they are a problem. That's how Frank should have been handled. I just read where the actor who played Frank-Trevor Kent-died of HIV/AIDS in 1989.

Myra was spot on what she said during the dining room disturbance, had they been upfront and actually explained why the gate was locked in the first place then calm could have remained, but if you treat people (even prisoners) like kids then you have to expect them to become unsettled and behave in just the manner they did. Janice is batting on a dodgy wicket allowing the need for her fix of alcohol to tempt her into drinking such dangerous stuff time and again. She'll kill herself one of these times if she doesn't soon get a grip of herself.
