ms velasca I don't know if the writers always thought about these things when they wrote those scripts, but it makes the characters look incompetent and hypocritical, unless it was definitely the writers' intentions in the first place to write what they wrote.

Some of the directors of Prisoner seem to be graduates from the Alfred Hitchcock School of Directing! Absolutely love the way the scenes were filmed. For all the glitches in the storylines / sets etc, the directing was pretty excellent in this series. Best series ever made!

I love how non of the sets of the prison make sense. You see people coming in to reception from behind that small screen/wall near the shower, when there is no door there. Even if there were two doors and one of them was near the shower block, they would still not walk all the way around the screen/wall into reception. This was also used as the main shower, when later on there is a shower block on the level of the cells. Walls move, gates vanish, there are windows in places that can't have windows, I love it :D

+SoapsNthings - After all, the woman displays all the hallmarks of being a great mother! Right? She has every right to an abortion. It's better to abort than to keep it and neglect & abuse it. Do you honestly think she'll choose a man who will accept the kid as his own so the three of them can play happy families? Furthermore, putting the kid into (foster) care pretty much guarantees it will be neglected, abused and/or sexually molested - not always by the foster parents but by the other foster kids. But anti-abortion zealots don't like coming to terms with reality.

Bea Smith - Batman - Hahaha, exactly! Its ridiculous that they would let that kid back in the house, but that's one of the great things about Prisoner, its never surprising! Its always completely obvious what's going to happen. Its like pantomime in that respect. Storyline continuity problem starting @ 9:48 Melinda is hysterical, and begs Dr. Greg to call her father, and ask him to come to court to testify on her behalf. This meltdown rant is the problem. In the previous episode, Jean Vernon had already told Melinda that her father was going to be in court & testify for her. So, that was already a done deal. Did Melinda slip into a parallel universe, where she never spoke to Jean to begin with? Between the time Jean had told her, and her crackup with Greg, did Melinda & her father have another falling out, and we just weren't told about it?

Police & Davo logic beggar belief. Vera really is a twisted piece of crap. Melinda and her lawyer... Not quite Oscar worthy performances but you'd think Melinda would wait until she's out of court before smirking. Noeline is repulsive but she does manage to know what's going on even better than Bea in some respects. Bella's murder is supposed to be kept under raps but Vernon's shooting off her mouth in front of LeAnne. And of course LeAnne ends up with Bella's ring to shop.

They need to call the police first. To investigate the homicide. 2:08 - instead of getting Bea Smith. So Eric can incriminate Bea Smith. They contaminated the crime scean, by having the doctor investigate. Moving the body. The body would have had finger prints, hair particles ect. The position of the body. Yes they could test DNA, definitely finger prints would be used. Being a prison, finger prints would be taken upon processing. Totally rediculous 😮

OMG! That Lulu whatever her last name needed to take some acting lessons. She should have taken crying lessons from Kerry Armstrong. IMO, Kerry and Jackie, the actress who played Julie Egbert were two of the best cryers on here.

Why did they show the outside while Lizzie was talking? Was a scene edited?
@Summer21.
@Summer21. 5 жыл бұрын
Sheri Heffner It was because of the master tapes not being kept in good condition, which meant that some parts had deteriorated. The video quality was bad, but some of the audio of those parts were still good, so they worked around those scenes, kept the good audio parts and then added an alternative scene just to fill in those gaps. 😃

Bad writing in this story line. It's completely out of character for Davidson to be so monstrously unfair.

Melinda looks a bit like a modern day Isy Suttie I reckon. Or the other way round whatever. But I do love Isy Suttie in anything she's in so it's a good thing to me.

I love this series! But... the whole Jean/Leanne storyline is just too absurd. Hmmm. And naive as Meg can be, it's hard to believe she would have agreed to the whole sitch. 🤔

Typical social worker, poking their noses into what they don't understand, offering charity they don't have to provide and washing their hands of it all when it's turned to shit then laying the blame on someone else.

As if Meg would let Lianne stay at her flat after robbing her and she would rob anything that isn't nailed down. Also as if Burke family wouldn't take welfare if they are professional thieves

In real life Noline would be a welfare queen. But she would continue to steal on a regular basis.
