Very good episode . Only intended to watch part of it as I couldn’t sleep, but couldn’t switch it off!! Well they say that men don’t understand what women go through! They certainly didn’t back then First Dr Herbert ( who is really sweet) told Chrissie in labour to pretend it’s happening to someone else 😱 Then Paul Reid said he’d never known anyone to be so single minded about a baby!! And went on to say that Chrissie seems to think the baby will change her whole life 🤣🤣 Chrissie bless her said that the baby didn’t want a father who would bash her up or take her to bed 🙁 Shows what kind of life she’s had! ……And it turns out Judy and Sharon are lovers! Not sure what Judy sees in that little piece of work!! Hope Bea isn’t in isolation too long

Does the maternity wing in this hospital not have any (specialist) doctors? Do they really send for the patient's GP to come to treat her if she goes into premature labour? He can't possibly be the best qualified person to treat her. Is Erica really allowed to order Bea into indefinate isolation? She can only put a prisoner into solitary for48 hours and the VJ's have limited sentencing powers to put prisoners into solitary for short periods, even for really bad offences. But Erica now seams to have the power to confine Bea to this indefinate isolation on a whim without her actually having committed a specific offence.

Back in the day, doctors did LOTS of stuff, specialists were only called in in extreme circumstances, or for stuff like open heart surgery etc. many "GP" doctors delivered babies, took out tonsils, did appendectomies, along with all of the usual colds, sore throats bronchitis and flu stuff as well as broken ankles and the like.
