She is one of the most psychotic nutters to appear in the whole 692 episodes. And yet has more redeeming characteristics in her little finger than Lexie has in her whole body. I'll admit that first time watching through all those years ago I didn't overly like Lou for the longest time. But the more times I watch the show the more I like her character.

OMG I never noticed that the first time or the 2nd time I watched this episode!! LOL! Its very hilarious how ridiculous it all looks, lol. Even with screws, youd think they should have a few words to say when they have to interact with the main characters, especially other screws dealing with the inmates!!!!!!!! The background characters and their shenanigans. They almost never say much, some of the long term backgrounders never utter a word we hear!

@Summer21.
@Summer21. 6 жыл бұрын
helen clarke Yes, it's shitty that she does that. It's very rare Pippa even calls her mum, "Mum". It's either "Ann" or "Mater", which is an old fashioned, upper class English word for mother, and the male version of that for father is "Pater". 😲

It's illegal in the UK to open someone else's post. In the last 19 years the only time my partner or I have opened each others mail has been with prior permission/ request. Any time anyone has ever asked me to get something from their wallet, purse or handbag, I've always brought it to them so they can take whatever they've asked for out themselves. I was taught from a young age never go through a woman's purse or handbag and I guess its stuck with me and been extended to men's wallets/ bags too.

Louise Siverson is such a fabulous actress, and the writers clearly recognised her talent and wrote around her strengths as a performer. Louise created Lou, not the writers. Her interviews on Talking Prisoner are the best on the channel, she is so engaging and full of tasty anecdotes about her journey playing Lou. I think Lois Collinder improved as Lurch immensely, she very much grew into her role. Her first episodes were a bit wooden, but around about now, the actress clicks into the spirit of Lurch, and she becomes a great character in the final season.

PIP seriously irritates me. From her horrendous behaviour and calling the gorgeous Mrs. R “Anne” it’s that bizarre walk she has with that stiff arm thing going on.LOL

Marie Trevor really had a hard-on for Greek names. Daphne, Alexis(lexie) whose played by her daughter Pepe(Penelope), Nora(Eleanora), Phillipa(Pippa) who was originally called Julie before Marie Trevor took over. Terri is also a Greek name derived from Terasia. Just a few from the series now.

So since the printing room was last seen and presumably used 3 years or so back giant arachnids must have moved into a locked room and spun their giant alien webs of horror. The invasion of the giant alien arachnids is the spin off show that we all need in our lives but doesn't exist because it was never made, sadly.
