She is one of the most psychotic nutters to appear in the whole 692 episodes. And yet has more redeeming characteristics in her little finger than Lexie has in her whole body. Louise Siverson is such a fabulous actress, and the writers clearly recognised her talent and wrote around her strengths as a performer. Louise created Lou, not the writers. Her interviews on Talking Prisoner are the best on the channel, she is so engaging and full of tasty anecdotes about her journey playing Lou. I think Lois Collinder improved as Lurch immensely, she very much grew into her role. Her first episodes were a bit wooden, but around about now, the actress clicks into the spirit of Lurch, and she becomes a great character in the final season.
