Beautiful bike that brings back so many memories of my childhood! I was 12 in 1975 and dreamed of owning this bike.

Oh MY, Such memories. My Dad put me on this bike when i couldnt even touch the ground. 1976 ish. Dad used to scream at me, shift, shift!. We were in central FL. Nothing but Orange groves for miles. I still have a nasty scar from falling over and the exhaust cooking my leg. The bike was too heavy for me to get off.

My first dirt bike was a 73 XR 75. It was bored out to 100cc. It was a little beat up but I had a lot of fun with it.

Man that’s a little beauty right there! When I was 5 in 1980. I got a Rupp mini motorcycle, I think you guys have one? My dad & uncle restored it at his body shop. Anyway that’s when I started riding and I never looked back! Still have my mint 85 ATC 250R. I fully restored mine back to OEM specs/colors. Well except for the reeds, carb & Paul turner pipe…👍🏻🏁

The attention to detail on that little bike is insane. We just used those little XRs up back in the day. What a trip down memory lane.

Wow, this brings back memories, I got this bike for Christmas in 1977. I forgot it had the silver fenders! I painted the frame and the fenders red. It had DG pipe with no packing in the baffle, the sound was awsome 👌

That is the nicest XR75 I have seen in a long time. I don't think you would take $350.00 for it which is what it cost new. A friend of mine had a 75 XR75. I had a 1974 TM75, I could beat him because the Suzuki handled better. It was fun looking at such a nice one.

I had the money 625 dollars for 1978 RM 80 but some how dad comes home with low miles 600 mile on it 75 XL 125....i strip the lights put a Tony D preston petty front fender...a cheng shen paddle knobby on the rear..made a small gear change took the 52 rear of put a 60 on it i changed the pipe to a hooker header up pipe after riding figure 8s in the snow...an set out on a mission to break it to show dad it wasnt a good bike....i broke the pipe rear hub an finally the swing arm..but couldnt kill it ride it when school was out 70 hours a week after feeling successful i had prove it wasnt the RM motocrosser...i sold it for parts....oh yeah i even sunk it deep in the Ramapo river accidently after a heavy rain push it home 2 miles an its starts....worst i was feeling good i killed it..the kid who came to buy it had his bro was an AMI graduade hes gonna restore it...oh brodder...so went superbike Racing on a 86 FZ 750 but the hondas were great my neighbor had this little XR 75 an he was always wheelying around like he was doug domokos...later his brother tells me he could only do that he was 6 ' 4" tall an he broke the foot pegs off it....i rode that XL 125 for 14 months 365 days a year 35 to 70 hours a week an i only just put gas in it that was all...not like my RACE bike KX an CR s i ride for and hour an change the crank oil..2 strokes i mean...a little higher on the maitenence....when i heard they were racing four strokes i got excited an there worse on maitenence then 2 smokes
