This SL-70 is simply astounding. Throughout the video I could not stop just shaking my head in amazement at the details AND I couldn't help get a tear in my eye! I lusted after an Aquarius Blue SL-70 as a tween in 1972 as I rode a little Deltek. Even though years later I went on to buy and ride bigger and more imposing bikes I never scratched that SL-70 itch. A multitude of memories and emotions well up in me as I watch this video. I'd pay any price to acquire that bike but reading through the comments here I find it is by auction. If I was in America instead of Sydney Australia I'd be there with bells on. The person who gets this incredible machine will be one fortunate soul. Well done on the impeccable restoration and thanks for the video If I was you I truly wouldn't be able to bring myself to sell it, ever! P.S. I was looking forward to seeing it on the road as you mention in the vid - what happened to that part?

Hi, the Honda is on an auction site called "Bring a Trailer" and you can bid from anywhere, I would just have to ship you the bike. Auctions go for a little over a week and it's all online. As far as other videos of you look at my channel you will see the other videos as well as a few other bikes I've refreshed/refurbished/restored.

my first road bike 2 years before I was technically allowed on the road, in Australia it was the roadgoing version of the xr75, which was my first dirt bike. seem to remember the cylinder head was more upright on mine?

Thats what i call a proper made bike made in japan if only they could go back to these beautifully krafted machines when bikes were proper hardware that people got value for money these bikes would last a long time better than these days when people do not appreciate and if only they could go back and appreciate these specially made japanese honda,s from the 70s was fun and exiting times that were built to last
