You should spend 10 minutes looking at Mediterranean Cruises that include a stop there or near there. Monaco is closer and more affordable to visit than you might expect. I was fortunate enough to stay several weeks in the region and returned via Cruise ship a few years later. If this is your dream. Do it.

Our monarchies reflect our countries. Monaco has a more relaxed, warm nature, I suppose because it is on the Mediterranean. In northern Europe we are more formal and our monarchy reflects that. Even further north and the Danish people are very relaxed and their monarchy again reflects that.

Visiting Monaco you get to experience a real life Magic Kingdom. It is more beautiful, inviting and accessible than you might expect. While it is a concrete jungle of sorts it is a gilded one and has an aura or vibe you don't get anywhere else.

It amazes me how quick people are to judge just on the emotions of the bride when she married Albert and saying he was cold. How is it the looks on ones face makes people jump to negative comments. I watched their wedding and only saw a very touching emotional young lady who truly loves her Prince. So many emotions run thru our hearts when we get married. It is a great undertaking. The real deal! His mother and father would be so proud! I remember standing near him while he was waiting for his turn in the 2000 torch relay in Sydney and his easy-going banter with the local punters. No cameras anywhere!

I love the Grimaldi’s. They are very down to earth monarch. By just watching them all on any gathering they all look so lovely. This is certainly among the very best of all documentaries that I have seen yet, although I might add one small critical comment. By following the dialogue, it is self evident that this was filmed in 2012, while being released in 2016. It would be helpful to simply add dates into the subtitles, or anything similar, in order to place time in reference, with statements such as "...He has ruled for seven years...", etc. Geoff Rohde
