I like the idea that you can simply place the tent on a carpeted room. I think it's more comfortable than a conventional bed. It's like you're camping but in the security of your home. This would be amazing especially on rainy days, when you hear the splatter on the roof and you're inside the tent cuddling your partner or just the pillow. Then you realize you're just a walk away from your kitchen where a warm soup is waiting. This is what I call LIFE!

We have found that keeping a fan at the end of the bed where our head's go...that has helped us regulate the temperature A LOT. Kind of a necessity if you are actually zipping up your tent. If you have the space to whip together a little shelf of sorts that a fan can rest on, that might help. :)

I am considering getting this for when I move to Thailand. I will be working the graveyard shift, then sleeping during the day. This would be perfect to keep the daylight out, regardless of my curtain situation, as well as mosquitoes. On the few days it gets cold (like five days a year, maybe), it should trap the heat inside as well.

Hello there. I really appreciate your demonstration; it's valuable to me because you demonstrate the height, width, and features of the bed tents at ground level, which is what I needed. I have a question about these types of tents: Can these tents be waterproofed so that they can be used outside for playtime forts and/or yard camping, or camping in general? Thank You :)
@BeingBarton3 жыл бұрын
@PetuniaRomania That's a good question. 🤔 We haven't tried to use ours outside. But! I don't see why you couldn't spray it down with waterproofing agent and make it all-weather suitable. It's a good idea. 💡
@marcysutton69322 жыл бұрын
I dont think it would work. The matress inside helps stabilize it There are the 2 poles at the bottom do it's not necessarily flat. I mean its worth a try but ull probably be happier if u get an actual outside pop up tent for outside play
@marcysutton69322 жыл бұрын
My husband after 25 years decided he must sleep with lights on! The over head light, side lamps. And I could not deal. Thankfully the new bed we purchased as a king is the expensive temperpedic automatic adjustment bed.. but it is 2 separate twins so we each can adjust to our own. I purchased a twin pop up for my side of the bed did the side table set up with a heppa filter, fan and my tablet much like this couple did. 2 years later I decided to purchase a new tent that was similar but with over head structured collapsible poles ( different brand) this allowed me to hang a chargabe led camping light/fan from the peak. It actually has more head room. It slips over the mattress though and is tricky changing the bottom sheet. I uses bungie cords to secure the corners to the head and food board as added structure. I do prefer the mattress set up on the original tent in this video..I agree that the side walls are a bit flimsy. My husband pushes against it.. the new one with the tent poles has much better structure but for both I actually put a baby gate that is sandwiched between the 2 mattresses- more as a reminder to keep him on his own mattress. Lol. When I switched tents I struggled with folding it down. I was frustrated and gave up and sat it in my spare room ( over a year). I recently redid that room as a guest room/ nursery- toddlers room for my grandson and daughter when they are here. I've spent 3 days again struggling with the collapsing of that pop up tent. I watched video after video. Everyone had a different way and yet I still could not get it to work! Until I found THIS VIDEO! thank you so much! U talked ur own way through it, things that went wrong and the best way that u got it to work. My first try after this video and it back in its bag. Thank you!!!

Does the king fit tightly ? I have a cal king and I want one but they don't make it I know it would fit width with but cal king is 4 in only longer . Do you think there is enough extra space it would fit
@BeingBarton5 жыл бұрын
@Sam Knot I think if our king mattress was 4" longer it would still fit in the king size bed tent. It would be snug...not a lot of room to store anything like a laptop or a book between the mattress and the tent. But the construction is really flexible and forgiving, I think. The frame bends and bows to accommodate. I hope this helps!
@stephenieknot90865 жыл бұрын
Oh ok thanks what about the quality any issues yet or with the zipper ? I'd be zipping it daily . Does it get hot I wouldn't think so . Does it smell bad when you recieved it ? Is it sealed well when receiving I'm worried about receiving a return
@BeingBarton5 жыл бұрын
@@stephenieknot9086 I think it would be really hard to hide it if they sent out a returned tent to a new customer. The fabric stains easily, it's not the most durable...the threads around the metal frame start to fray as the tent is used (because it's not rigid and the friction from movement really does cause the lining to tear). But! If you position the tent to minimize movement at either end, it's great. That's why the larger tents have worked best for us...they don't wiggle. And the zippers are high quality. We haven't had any zipper issues at all with our 4 tents. Also, our tents weren't sealed and didn't smell bad upon arrival. I hope this helps!
@BeingBarton5 жыл бұрын

@BeingBarton6 жыл бұрын
+BETHEL CUIRES Oh, that's cool! We spot clean our tents...I don't think it would work to launder them properly because of the metal frame. Maybe if you use a steamer? But that's a good point...we've never talked about it. And thank you for the kind words about our kiddos. They are awesome. :)
@bethelcuires80036 жыл бұрын
Being Barton They are cute and precious... 😍 About the cleaning of this tent, I thought the metal frame is removable... So, never mind. However, I think the steamer could be a good idea. The reason why I thought about laundering them is because our kitties also love this tent very much, in case they accidentally spray on it while claiming the territories. 😖 It never happened before though (knock the wood...) Well, thanks again. Really enjoyed your clip and your family in there!

@BeingBarton5 жыл бұрын
@April McAllister Yikes! I can say from experience that we have to adjust the tents a bit when we use them with a frame. Primarily we just use them on the floor...like indoor tents with a comfy flooring. The wire frame is somewhat flexible, which means that if the outer edges of the tent aren't held in place by tension between the headboard and footboard, the tent won't hold its shape. I don't know if that's helpful or not. Perhaps if you contact the company directly a customer service person will be able to help more? I'm sorry for your troubles! : /

Robert Bennett I can see that happening...we have seen holes develop where the poles thread through on both of our twin tents. We also saw the casing for the outside metal frame rip open on one of the twin tents. And! One of the support rods cracked on the pink tent...we chose to move the remaining 3 rods on that tent around so that the mattress essentially helps keep the tent open. Our need for these tents causes us to work around the drawbacks. For sure, these tents are more fragile than I would like for them to be! I'm sorry yours became worthless so quickly.
