The department of corrections should be named THE DEPARTMENT OF CORRUPTION. Only because that's exactly what they are..... Bottom line.

Private prisons leads to private jails. Have you seen how the counties load a holding cell with multiple people with standing room only? Oh, but that doesn't affect me ... until you are pulled over for a traffic violation and asked to step out of your car. Asking why could be dangerous.

Hopefully i'm not too late in the comments. I have personal experience with the brutal and corrupt private and state prison institutions. Private prisons are far from the only thing to blame in the justice system. States such as Arizona actually take federal funding for state prisons, pocket most of the money and spend as little as possible for what was stated they would be spending the money on. A huge talking point here would be the mandatory classes required of prisoners while incarcerated. The classes to further education and to supposedly reduce recidivism are a racket. They put about 30 prisoners in a room with about 10 out of date text books to share and leave the prisoners to teach each other how to pass the classes. There is a "teacher" present. There is little to no educational value to the individual hired to "teach" The state prisons demand the prisoners pass these classes in the name of helping themselves when in fact for every "head" they have that passes one of these classes their budget for said classes continues or increases. Such institutions give sham demonstrations how how well they are doing and the positive impact they are having on prisoners and the community. A good analogy would be for instance.. think of being at a regular 9-5 and the district manager is showing up tomorrow to check in on things. A charade is created for the district manager. Many of the statements given by prisoners are coerced out of fear of retaliation. When your life is dominated by a corrupt system you have to learn how to survive. Another point to discuss would be the businesses that thrive off of prison labor such as Hickman Farms. These businesses run their businesses in the name of reducing recidivism when in fact they make massive profits from paying prisoners about 10 cents an hour for labor. These are state prison labor industries such as ACI. I encourage you to look into these. such systems weave a large web of corruption which motivate corrupt state governments to incarcerate more people for longer periods of time. Increased sentencing. Increased local news coverage of crime with bias and create probation institutions with the same agendas for profit.

I encourage you to look into State run prison labor institutions such as ACI and business that thrive off of prisoner labor such as Hickman Farms. Business are profiting from 10 cent prison labor operating under the false flag business model of reducing recidivism.

In conclusion,don't go to a private prison or you'll receive a double dose of incarceration.

Or don’t go to prison at all. That’s an even better and cheaper option.

Big prison started with the hip hop and the influence of young minorities not the war on drugs!
@RevdTv1235 жыл бұрын
Loll it started with vanguard and blackrock. They own the hiphop radio stations they own media . They actually have become the most wealthy companies in the world and own almost every important asset , banks , schools , biggest share holders in all the companies , they own cca and geo . They demand a 90% occupant of inmates or they pull their contract. They operate under their own rules , they also own jails , and juvenile detention. Best believe in about 20 years they will have so many private companies owning jails, court systems, schools , police departments and more . Real life version of the movie minority report . Or fifth element
