@@biggysground In all of my playing and study of the violin over far too many years to recount here, I have never seen the word 'bout' used. Furthermore, there exists no definition of the word. Just what is it I don't know ?

It's a copy, just more superior in sound and looks than regular branded factory or mass Made violins with mostly Affordable prices if you are a Classical violinist

So excellent violin with so low price, it's unbelievable. I even doubt whether the prices online were correct.

Replica give same results than princeps !!! Now we can analyse wood...scann dimensions etc etc for 2,5 k$ Chinese Factor use European 250 years wood... ! In blind test NOBODY can spot princeps of replicas....

Dear5104 yep! I agre ive thought so for ten or fifteen years now. The Guarnieris have a certain lushness a smoother tummy to the mid to bass that Stradivari doesnt always have. Im not bashing Stadivari I mean I would love to play one just once. But from what sketchy audio I have heard leads my discriminating ear twords Joseph Guarnieri Del Geso. They sound like really thick expensive leather boots cimpared to thick vinyl boots. The Guarnieris you can feel in the tummy. The strads the back and the thighs. Ive heard Strads on occasion have that gutteral wallow, but not very often. Maybe its just my imagination but thats what I hear. The only other violin that moves me is the genuine Paulo Maginni. 😅

The g is a bit dead. But the d a and e sound nice for this price range. You wont get something that changes the world. But its a reliable violin to learn on. If you can make one sound half as good as her? Then consider investing in a finer instrument. These guys are life savers. Cause you get someone that sounds just fine at an affordable price. And they are built very well.
