This is her second video tour of the Château that I've seen. Both have been thorough and highly informative. Her knowledge of the Château and the surrounding gardens is quite impressive. The Château is magnificent, inside and out. How fantastic that it's still inhabited and lovingly maintained by her family. Merci, Madame! Merci beaucoup!

Thank you for this translation! I am starting to become obsessive about the French chateau life, buying and reading books and subscribing to many KZbin channels about it. The Chateau de Lude is magnificent and at the top of my visit ASAP list! Madame de Nicolay is such a brilliant wealth of knowledge. Merci encore pour cette belle visite.

😳 It's true that every time I discover a chateau thanks to you,I am impressed as they are all fantastic, but this time I am genuinely Lost for words! It's absolutely incredible. Majestic. I was watching with open mouth from start to end. I stopped,I zoomed different parts staring at details. Every cm of the chateau is extraordinary. The styles, details, those warm colours, the systems that she is explaining in different parts, the history...the library-O my God...the linen room, the dining room used every day,the bedrooms, the kitchen/ one of my favourite parts in every chateau/,those stunning stairs, floors, ceilings, original furnitures with the spirit of old times. The attention to detail and ornaments is beyond incredible. I am so impressed, I can't even organise my thoughts. It's so incredible to be able to see rooms and private rooms, that are usually not open for public,or just very rare as it was said. Those old clothes/dresses,the uniforms with colors of the chateaux are so rare to see. Countess Barbara de Nicolaÿ is remarkable! It was very generous of her, to open the doors of certain parts of the castle for us to see. Thank you,So Chateaux, for this amazing episode. From today, one of my dreams/plans is to visit Chateau du Lude!

My favorite part of the tour was Eduoard Andre and his Gravity-pressured watering system which not only provided garden irrigation but also supplies the kitchen and the laundry cistern. FASCINATING. What a splendid Chateau! Inside out! Chimney mantels, parquet floors, Master Woodwork! Furniture, elaborate Dormer Windows and Chimneys, and much, much more! What a heartfelt warm and comfortable dining room! and to know you still use this Kitchen for making preservings! What a happy family gathering this must be every summer! How amazing, a Kiddneushaped Table, Never seen this before and am touched to know the WHY of this shape! Ohh I can feel, you must love your Chateau very much! Now I d'have a little question, how come that Antoine Roy (so says the speaker),.... "unfortunately died without a descendent", and then later says had "his daughter marry Marquis de Talouette" ? Hm... did I must have missed out on some part? Thank you so much for your Video!

After uniting everything. A universal cultural project could be taking an area we know will never be destroyed until the world is. Then making the most indestructible and preservable replica of the cultural beatuy of the world. Or each peoples in each area preserved for their reality and shelter cultural center. Then make areas outside of those pinnacles almost like a museum of cultural art through the societies. Cool stuff French are a crazy beautiful people.

If you've read the Memoires of the Duc de Saint-Simon, you'll know that the Duc de Bouillon was not "de La Tour d'Auvergne", but only de La Tour. The family sued during the reign of Louis XIV and lost. They were issued to minor nobility from the Nord of France.
