I think what I loved about canadas drag race is they actually seem to play like...the whole song if not all of it. Regular RPDR cuts the song and it feels like they cut a lot of the lipsync to make it seem like 1 or the other is doing better. Canada's drag race was raw.

I think the biggest thing that differentiates them is Ilona is a fierce lip-syncer, but once you've seen her lip sync once, you know her style. There's no surprise or variety. Power move, intense face, flowing walk, that's basically how it is (with minor variances inherent in song). Priyanka is literally a different girl every time she lip-synced. The variety. She's a much more versatile performer. EDIT - I also feel that Ilona is more combative and dismissive of the other queen - she has this trademark "look over at the other girl and grimace/gesture dismissively as if to say she's not worth saving" thing, and it gets really old and boring. Priyanka never even acknowledges Ilona in her performance, even when Ilona tries to gesture and step in front of her LOL

The problem with Ilona is that she did an amazing thing but all her lipsync was the same, while Priyanka had a lot more variety that made her mor interesting. It is quite interesting to watch these two lip sync. Ilona was rather restricted by the outfit, which reasonably restricted her movements, so she put her effort in to the emotion. Gotta say though, she has been in the bottom before, so her t-pose might have gotten a little too familiar. 1:54 was when Priyanka started doing that funny "play the instrument" thing, showing that she paid attention to the music and not just the lyrics. 2:14 after doing the split and realising her buffy boofooboofoos could be on show, she took it in stride and pretty much made it a part of the comedy. 2:24 is a good interaction moment between the two. Ilona's expression was hilarious.
