When my gorgeous old goldfish died, my other two stayed right by him until I removed him. People say that animals don't have feelings. People say that fish don't have feelings. They do. So obviously. There is more to life than science, and emotions in the animal kingdom prove that. Beautiful work, doctor!!

It is strange how animals care for each other. I went out to my Koi pond yesterday and could tell by the actions of my fish that something was not right. I found one of my koi dead in my skimmer.
@65FullMoon835 жыл бұрын
Strange for the symptoms to come on so quickly & the fish to deteriorate into a state of near death. It obviously does & can happen. Life's a fragile thing.The owners lucky you were there & available. Some of these fish have a lot of time, care & money put into them & quite honestly are just irreplaceable.

If you want to shorten a Koi's Life Expectancy while you chase a Trophy for the mantlepiece,just take it to Koi shows. The koi is safer in it's own Home Pond, a once in a Lifetime flight from Japan is more than enough.

Doxapram for stimulating respiratory system, B complex & adrenaline to "jump start" the fish, diazepam to lower stress response, in addition to air delivered through mouth to stimulate the heart. Sometimes B complex is used for stress as well.

Hello Fish Doctor, I was wondering if you could help me with my koi fish. They started getting bloody/red at the stomach and then there whole body begins to get bloody. There body parts stat to disintegrate such as the mouth and their tails and they die. about 15 of my koi fish have died and I have about 10 koi fish that are still infected. Any advice on medications? Or what to do?
