really glad you were able to find this gem. such a shame when people have no respect or understanding about the rarity of the parts they are destroying... as they try to get access to other parts on a car which they are going out to find parts for. anyways. keep at it!

3:15 that 10 seconds of clip sparks so much nostalgia in me. I remember yoinking a privacy cover for a da9 doing exactly this.. standing in the freezing cold in montana, holding the hatch open with my noggin, and sitting there for about 10 seconds in awe at the fact that there was a completely untouched interior on a car id only seen a few of ever. Not even a minute into the video and already I’m jealous. Your guys pick n pulls (or whatever they’re called there) are paved grounds! Every single one near me (and that’s about 4-6 yards) are all gravel. When it rains it basically becomes a giant swimming pool. Man that fender would have stayed on that car in my book. It is great you have such type of junkyard in your location. In LTU we are not allowed to go any further than the waiting room and what is bad about this is that you are not able to inspect and review any vehicles by your own and maybe find some cool and rare stuff you may need. Usually junkyard employees are very rude, unfriendly and don't bother to look up for something which in their knowledge is low value or they see it as questionable profit. Most of the time you will here "no, there is no such a part and goodbye"...

Very cool! I got lucky and was able to buy a new OEM sunroof seal. So glad I did! That 89-93 Maxima was pretty awesome back in the day. Came with 190 HP in the SE trim. 190 HP back then was pretty powerful! The GXE trim had 160HP. The one in your video was the SE trim based on the wheels it had. Nissan put a '4DSC' sticker on the back door windows. Stood for "4 Door Sports Car". That Kenwood alarm you saw with the dial on it was to adjust the sensitivity sensor. Some alarms back then had shock sensors. The alarm would go off if someone bumped into it. My alarm would sometimes go off just because of the wind or when the trash truck drove by it. Lol Kenwood, Alpine, and Viper were the top 3 alarm makers back then. Yes, that G20 Infiniti had a FWD SR20. Same as the FWD 95-98 200SX.

@@PrizzaMike No problem. I'm a Gen-X'er. I grew up with these cars, and I was a huge car enthusiast back then, too. I spent a lot of time reading car magazines to learn all the differences between the cars. One thing I also enjoy about your videos is you ask a lot of good questions. I enjoy answering them when I can. It's so cool to see younger people still enjoying these cars. I am grateful people like you are keeping them on the road in your unique ways. I prefer to see them restored to as original as possible (OE+) but I will take them still being saved for tracking, etc. The 240SX back in the 80's and 90s was not a desirable car. Mike, you can clean stained carpets nad seats with an extraction vacuum and they will become like new again. I got one for my seats and proceeded to do the entire car including carpet rear bench and everything, thing works wonders. I also cleaned the Orange seats from a friends car (Citroen C2 VTR) which were completly black on the driver side and they became bright orange again. I hope this helps you because you talked about not considering the carpet at the beginning of the video because it was stained.
