Your videos have a wonderfully elegant feel, much like their subject manner. I'm curious how many man hours went into this garden, since the filming took place over such a long time. As a professional landscape contractor, cost of installation is an important part of being profitable enough to stay in business. Do you know whether or not ponds are being built in Japan using rubber liners and biological filtration, rather than concrete with no filtration? This traditional style pond will be very labor intensive to keep clean, whereas the modern style of pond building introduced in the USA by Aquascape Inc. 30 years ago requires very little maintenance, and the water remains crystal clear due to the combination of biological & physical filtration. In 2024 there will be an Aquascape pond building project in Japan, and I look forward to meeting you there at that time. Great work on your part, as always!

It was ok, some or two areas were very nice and the pink rock is very hard to set in the right amount before it does not stand out too much. I did not like the grey large flat stone to the left, as it needed at least one similar stone a third of it´s size close by. I imagine it´s to sit on. I found it was too much stone and has no areas free to rest the eye, every area demanded too much attention "Less is More" comes to mind. Finally, their was only one size of moss being used and no larger peace's, was also missing moss on some stones. The tree already there was wonderful, it will have to be kept clear of rotting leaf later as the smell is not so nice. I liked the stone the pillar was sitting on, very nice. In all its ok, some of the plants like the Japanese grass grows quite tall and plants were too close in general, you might not see them due to this. Thank you for your film
