The day Richard Lewis leaves Esports will be one of the saddest days, he's done phenomenal work whether its been on desks, writing articles, breaking stories, he's been such an integral part of esports ,of course it'll be interesting to see what he steps into next but to watch him leave Esports will be sad. Excited to see that book will pick it up right when its available!

For Richard statement at the end that he'll always just throw his stream on over a coffee or a beer is his absolute high point. Richard is at his best just chillen and talking shit, just Richard being Richard. His streams where he plays Democracy are some of my favorites!

It’s so sad to see how people treat Richard. I’ve never seen a person who gives more to everyone else and will always help others over his own personal gain. This is someone I will always make the time of day for. I’ll support you to the end, both thorin and rich, even though I hope it never comes.

It's fascinating to see, How thorin's personality comes out in its purest form whenever he interacts with Richard Lewis, That's something I haven't noticed from interactions thorin had with other people, It's almost like they are two spiritual brothers that somehow ended up meeting each other in this material world.

Near the end of this interview really hit home for me. I recently took a job after working for myself for around 2 years. I rejected a few jobs prior because I was worried what people would think about working for someone else after having my own company. After taking the job I have noticed a lot of my anxiety has gone and I am more happier. Do things for yourself, not for other people...good chances are they don't really care for more than a few seconds..if that.

Thanks a lot for this video. As someone who has been following CS for 20 years, watching CSGO live has never been more bland. I get that the online era due to covid is a big argument on saturation but casting and desks are saturated with the same type of mannerisms, jokes and even lexicon. The only way for me nowadays to watch EPL are the match highlight compilations on KZbin - sometimes muted. You both are very missed.

In terms of the stages, I feel like eLeague was par for the course. The presentation of a lot of big tournaments has been pretty well set for CS for some time, but the way that players were treated behind the scenes was a really big deal. eLeague definitely helped to alleviate the scum TO stuff that was pervasive at the time. It’s a shame that Richard got a taste of the American TV outrage in that way. In other continents, that kind of thing isn’t that common in other countries, but the “call the network, kill the host” stuff is super common in the states. I have a feeling that having to pass this stuff up and make others do the drills was more what got to Rich than the threats and stuff themselves. I remember pre-eLeague there were some incidents, but it seems like the compounding factor was the big tipping point.

How can a person threatening murder or violence over a rumor possibly believe that they are the good guy. I know it's 2021, but I still think murder is worse than being a supposed racist.
@jihadalott9923 жыл бұрын
The same people who justify that its okay to "punch a nazi". The problem lies with what your definition of words actually is. Change the definition of a word and all of a sudden you can do heinous things to people and think/justify yourself as a hero. This idea of self identity politics where everyone is a victim is just leading people to think they are trapped in a corner and when someone is/feels trapped, they will do radical things to correct/fix it.
@coryjohnson97283 жыл бұрын
@@jihadalott992 In a world where making someone uncomfortable can be punishable by death, imagine the severity of the punishment that would be justifiable for killing someone's friends or family. By making their own actions acceptable under an artificial morality, they've doomed themselves to a far worse existence, assuming we can apply the same morals to their actions after the fact. The obvious fact being that someone who is willing to commit murder would have far worse skeletons in their closet than someone who at worst might be racist. A person of even normal intelligence would realize that cultivating a culture of forgiveness is the only way for person who justifies murder to have any hope of a halfway decent life. If a person actually believes killing a supposed racist would have them seen as a hero, then burning murderers alive might get a trophy and a parade. There is no logic to what these people think.

Long time listener, first call caller (i miss trash talk ;) ) good show and RL i will just say thanks for forcing me to watch CS when trash talk stop being about SC, it turns out to be fun. But one thing there always have annoyed me about RL are: Stop selling yourself short, you are one of the best host (if not the best), not only in CS but on tv in general, (but CS esport have have raised the bar for filler so high i cant watch stuff like election night, they are so bad at filling). And every tine you talk about it like you are just a placeholder until some good comes around i all way want to shake you and scream "YOU ARE THE GOOD ONE") (like a kid in a tv show and not in real life) /end i am high and one with the world rant, Tl;Dr thanks for the content to both of you and stay real.
