I think you should do waaay more of these interviews since it really gives a personal perspective working as a bartender. I'm looking for a job that could support me before and during my time in university, it could be anything from being an electrician to cooking in a kitchen. But my parents and grandparent want me to become a bartender but I'd like to know more about it. More videos like these would really help me out! Subbed.

You should do a video on properly reading IDs, spotting fakes and out of state IDs and dealing with underagers at the bar or older folks who get upset when they get carded.

I feel like I have the skills down but the super friendly aspect of it I'd have work on so that's something I should practice. How can I land a job at bartending with no real experience working as one?

I DO NOT agree with this dude Evan at all!!! I'm a platinum bartender and professional trained mixologist. I bartend all the hottest parties in L.A. and Vegas including Largest Hollywood Event's everything from the Grammy's to the Academy Awards and Celebrity private parties and TRUST me technique and understanding mixology is HUGH if you make SHITTY drinks you will never make REAL MONEY!! You need to have a good foundation in technique and a extensive understanding of Liquor, Liqueur, and Wines. DON'T HALF ASS your way through life. Don't believe the theory fake it until you make it. You never get anywhere by faking it. TRUE STORY!
