Will the Hunter Clik sensors work with other brand clocks?

Hunter Clik sensors are compatible with normally open or normally closed sensor inputs on most irrigation controllers.

Is there a way to keep the bypass on for longer than 24 hrs? My sensor was installed in a bad place.
