Thank you for making videos like this. I've had this game in my Steam library for 8 years since the closed beta and have always been far too intimidated to really dig into it, and most videos for "beginners" are just detailing about the basic controls and fundamental rules of the game. Stuff like "focus on GPM", "kill camps instead of worrying about hero kills", "fill item gaps when possible", that's the kind of stuff I need to know coming from SC2, not studying every item in the game, so I can actually enter unranked matches and have success no matter what hero I'm playing. It's like telling an SC2 player to focus on macro until Platinum instead of teaching unit micro tricks.

Good video. i would suggest you Do a side by side comparison of a high rank player with the same hero. something like: here is what a 7k player did from minute 10 to13 on the same hero with last hits and what not. i think it would be nice

Had a game against a viper that built staff of wizardry, blade of alacrity, then ogre axe. It was apparent he was "rushing" aghs but it was a 25 minute game with racks at 22 minutes. No other items, no wards, clarities, mangos, tango, just pooled all his gold for +10 all stats Really wish default guides were better at pushing the point that "Every slot should be filled with items in the early game, buy a couple mangos and a sentry ward, or even a bracer if they have a magic lane."

I wish things like movement speed had little calculations in them on brackets, if a 300 speed hero buys a wind lace, that's around 6% more movement speed. Hell, having tranqs, plus another wind lace on a 300 speed hero would be 34% more total movement speed. NUTS. Imagine getting to a lane 34% faster, dewarding 34% faster, getting to camps and stacking 34% faster, reaching a fight 34% faster, ganking is so much easier, you can out run any hero that doesn't have a casual wind lace. Go into practice mode on CM, one of the slowest heroes in the game, then run around and then buy tranqs and wind lace, you're ZOOMING boy. Catch up to people and nova them, easy kills. People really underestimate this stuff. Movement speed talents are highly underrated, too. When your entire JOB is walking around the map, movement speed is sick.

I prefer guess the rank to this format. It's just as informative and more fun. =) However, if you want to find a new format, mayb this could work: Watch random pubs and focus on one topic at a time. Like map movement for example. Watch every player's map movements and say where they went wrong and why. Next video maybe Item builds, next video laning phase or trading in the lane etc. This way, it's not as random as watching 10 second clips

The drow shooting over the hill was most likely a misclick because of the hill. You see that she put her mouse over the creeps when she cast the ability, but the mouse overlap a bit on the hill and because the hill is actually 90 degree left of the target it shoot at the wrong spot.

I disagree with saving BKB for after using Aegis on heroes like Sven who have long cooldowns they need to use to commit to fights (God's Strength). Same with Terrorblade. For example, what's the point of popping Metamorphosis if you're just going to get bursted and come back alive with no Meta?
