Love it! A little tip: For the Caipirinha, cut off the white crumb (or Core, btw, the up-to-down white part inside. Sorry, don't know how to say it better lol). It brings a strange bitterness, and we Brazilians don't like that. 2nd tip: Do soft smashes on lemon + sugar > add cachaça > mix > ice cubes (not smashed) > soft mix > bit of lemon juice + little bit of sugar. No one will forget your Caipirinha this way!

I'll have to say, It depends. For my caipirinhas I smash all the lime, and then correct the bitterness with the sugar (i don't like putting too much, i like my caipirinhas strong), and my costumers enjoy it more like this because it "removes de cachaça's taste" But I also met bartenders who prefer to do the caipirinhas without the peel/white part, it's a different taste. There was this one time in which a friend of mine and I made our caipirinhas to a group, with and without the white part/peel, and we had some notes: The more young women (23 to 26) preferred the one with the white part and a bit more sugar, as it "removed the cachaça's taste". The men (24 to 57) also preferred this one but with less sugar, so it keeps the bittners making it taste "strong". The more adult women (47 to 64) preferred the one made without thee peel and a bit more sugar, because it removed the bitterness and it made the cachaça's taste less predominant, but still there. BUT ALSO, i'm from south Brazil, maybe here we have some different taste in the Caipirinha! Maybe if i go to Rio or Sampa, they won't like the caipirinha made with the peel, so yeah.

Never seen a professional bartender in a busy bar removing the lime/lemon/orange pith. 1st things 1st don't bruise your lime too much and use good quality cachaça, that's it ! The average Brazilian knows shit about cachaça...

I am a barman in Brazil and I prepare my caipirinha in another way. If you already know or are curious to try it. 50ml lemon juice 2 spoons of sugar crushed ice 50ml or 60ml of cachaça shake, shake, shake and more shake and ready.

Great vid but I have a couple comments about your technique/recipes. 1. You shouldn't use the bar spoon to mix all your drinks without washing it in between. This will especially affect the martinis taste. 2. way too much sugar was used in the caipirinha. 3. You didn't muddle the limes in either the mojito or the caipirinha 4. Roku gin is a very good gin but not necessarily for a martini. classically a dry gin is more preferred to balance the botanicals of the vermouth.

Should try using Agave syrup instead of the sugar for your old fashioned, and do 2/3 orange bitters with 1/3 angostura. Give a lot more depth to the drink 👌

For caipirinha, don’t use crushed ice. Use only 2 or 3 rocks of ice, and the ice is only used to shake, not to finish in client’s glass. Cheers from Brazil! 🇧🇷

Capirinha is shaken not built. Clean the barspoon between cocktails with different ingredients. Put less ice when u shake a sour, specially if not dry shaken first. There are other issues but not really important, in case ur working in a busy bar

I simply use empty wine bottles, most white wine or rose wines have that shape. Just strip the label and off you go. Red Wine bottles are often Brown or Green, so you can color code even. No need to buy, just reuse what you have on hand

Not necessary to muddle mint, simply smacking it a couple times will wake up flavor. And this way you can keep full leaves in drink instead of having little bits that will get sucked up straw.

With the mojito, please clap the mint before adding it in so it expresses the oils which brings out more of the flavour in your mojitos.

When you clap mint, a lot of essential oils go to your hands and to the air instead to go in cocktail. Better slightly squeeze mint with your palm, put it in the glass and straightaway add alcohol, mix it with spoon and there will be happiness for you, if you really want to be supermegaprofessional. For all other: just put f*cking mint in the glass😘

Buen video, sin embargo cometes tantos errores que no deberías; asumiendo la experiencia que debes tener. _No majaste o machacaste la hierba (yerba) que usaste para el mojito. _Usaste la misma cucharilla para refrescar el martini y luego... (sin limpiarla o lavarla, o simplemente usar otra) ...refrescaste el old fashioned. _El stir al martini era lo último que debiste hacer; no hacerlo y dejar que el hielo dentro del mixing tin se siga diluyendo. _No cambiaste de hielo al vaso para el whiskey Sour. O quizá debiste desechar la dilución del hielo que agregaste. El fin de agregar el hielo antes de empezar a preparar el cóctel; es enfriar el vaso, debiste cambiar de hielo. _ Seguro que si vuelvo a ver tu vídeo, encontraré más errores.
