Oh gosh, I love this, Mel. Finally! Finally a short styling bit that I can (and do) do to my hair. I am not much for all the convoluted stuff with styling. I just put my hair up after washing, in a microfiber turbie, let it down, brush it through with my wet brush, and then scrunch my stylers in. That's it, and as far as I'm willing to go. No matter what I do, I am not gonna get more texture (LOL).

Any volume tips if you find yourself without a diffuser or blowdryer? I have tried shaking my head up and down like a head banger and put my wet hair in a loose messy bun super high on my head while it dries. It does help a bit.

Mel, I need some help with what to ask my hairdresser for… he’s been great but the last time it was cut he used the thinning shears that should never be allowed near curls… I was a bit scared but chose not to say anything (mad regrets). Anyway, I’ve been growing it out since mid December and think I’m nearly ready for a trim… but I’m unsure how to say what I want correctly… I like some shape and it always needs a little thinning around the crown but outside of that can you help me with what will help it continue to grow back to what it was pre-disaster?

When I rack product into my hair I alway have shedding like I am pulling my hair put idk. I can never get volume at the roots either.
