I can attest... videos like Carlos helped me get into the game FAST...i do have a ton of music and studio experience so that definitely helps a TON obviously. But i got my first dj controller in may and i have a weekend residency at a local club and do about 4 gigs a week. I would have bombed hard if not for finding Carlo Atendido's awesome beginner tutorials. A 2 month DJ and people are complimenting my mixing, my foundation literally came from earching DJCA. In some of the older videos of yours, as well as the annotations you've used little dynamic graphics. What look like bursts when you press a button and animated lines or arrows when moving a slider or a knob. I love that. What program did you (do you) use to do that?

Yeah you can focus on learning the most important techniques in DJing first (I shared them in my channel). Once you develop these skills, you'll be surprised that you can actually workaround between controllers regardless of models.

As with this controller you prefer to use the posfader fx? ( you mute the channel with the fader rather than keeping it going even though fader is down/out). Also, what about phrases? do you prefer to mix at 16th or at 32. I would love to know what works best. thanks
