Ohh that’s unfortunate indeed! I can answer somehow here but I will put something for my next content. My takeaway here is that part of the negotiation is to communicate with the organizers. Tho organizers can be not so techie but at least give a heads up to them your requirements. Even the availability of cables! Lol! On your part, you should consider this as your homework too! To learn workarounds! Cheers!
