Thanks for info. I hearing about 2 minor complaints. The holster is small & doesn't "holster" enough of the probe, which could allow dropping it when you bend 90 degrees & the other is the holster belt slot is too thin and not wide enough. I use a utility belt and that holster won't work. No snap & velcro would have been better. Very nice video.

That is fabulous. My friend has the 35 and we wanted to know more about the ferous. Nice review. Now maybe Santa will bring me one. My current pinpointed is a Garrett and it’s not very compatible. In other words, within a foot or so of my Etrac it cause the Etrac to go nuts.

Excellent job on the review. I definitely want the ProFind 35 in order to get the ferrous discrimination...thank you Heath.

Looks like is making the difference between iron and silver only when is touching the metal but how you know wich is wich at 2 inch depth?
@HistorySeekers5 жыл бұрын
The iron tone only can tell inside of 1 inch.

i got the mine lab 15 for free with the equinox , and it does not work sometimes , do i have to turn it on when touching the ground with it to get it to work?
@HistorySeekers5 жыл бұрын
JACOB1556 no it should work just turning it on. If not try another battery. If still not working let your dealer know. If you got it from us give me a call and I can get it changed out.
@JACOB15565 жыл бұрын
@@HistorySeekers i have investigated the problem , you know how you turn it on and you hear a 3rd small beep after you turn it on to tell you its good to go. well that 3rd beep sometimes takes a lot longer than normal to kick in.

Hello, how do these perform with gold nuggets? Many detectors struggle due to ground mineralization in the gold areas.
@CJayC2537 жыл бұрын
Awesome video. When it comes to the ferrous tone, does it only indicated with the "galloping" tones when you're touching the iron target, or does it indicate even when you're still a couple inches away from it? Because if it only indicates iron when you're actually touching the iron, that would be kinda useless at that point. Also, can you activate the ferrous tone mode WITHOUT maxing out the sensitivity beforehand?
@HistorySeekers7 жыл бұрын
Yes you can activate without maxing out. I was just maxed and was poorly trying to explain that first tone you hear. As for will it detect if not touch? Absolutely, at a few inches depending on the size of the iron target. I noticed at extreme range it will give a normal beep at the extreme edge of detecting but as it gets closer it quickly changes. Great questions
@CJayC2537 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the answers. That is really reassuring to hear.
@livewithnick7 жыл бұрын
History Seekers that's what I was wondering too. So, you don't have to be touching the target for either signal to still differentiate the two?

Yes, it’s a great pin pointer. We use it and the white TRX.

@@HistorySeekers was looking at the TRX as well. But it says the trx is stronger on the tip, but not on the sides. Correct?
@bps58914 жыл бұрын
Tugboat the TRX only detects with the tip of the pointer. I prefer this over others like the garret that detects with the entire shaft bc it allows you to actually pin point. Lol I don’t ever see them use this minelab pinpointer in their videos. Makes me wonder

Before I read the manual on my NEW MINELAB PRO-FIND 35..... just turned on broken beeps on metal nail and solid tone on 1 gram of Gold.... I like the LEFT BEHIND Beeping but you have to have it turned ON. My new rule when its out of the holder it stays turned ON.... the LIGHT SUCKS you might be able to find your way out of a pitch black dark room if all the walls were wood and the door handle was steel.. lol.. They should have a really Bright LED Light on a separate switch. save the Batteries...
