And thanks on your insight and interpretation on the video Miguel! I love sharing the entertainment side of our sport (or at least from my perception). And I have a good rapport with these guys, so more to come and thanks for the support!

Loved your comment about coaching. The coach is not out there feeling what you the rider is feeling in that second the gate drops the first jump, the first berm... you know you’re doing something not quite right, something is a little off, if the coach says this was wrong, that was wrong, how do you learn. Both myself and son ride, when he comes over the line, I get him to talk me through it, straight be straight, very quickly he learns, oh damn, I should’ve done xyz. Boom, he’s learned something from it... goes out and tries again. Good luck AD you’re a legend (would still love to see you come up to our track on your tours around Oz mate. Love seeing Sam near a track again. Cheers G, keep up the vids.

I recently heard funny sounds on my bike. I went through a bolt check and some were loose. It's scary to think what might have happened if i let it go not to check.

What kind of camera do you use ?

Will Grant Hey Will I use the Sony NX-80 with an XLR mic. It also records in 120p which is awesome. I also use the a6500 for the hero gimbal shots. I might start using the a6500 for simple vlog style run and gun style. The NX-80 is a bit cumbersome to run around with but totally doable.

How do you pump really fast?
@TheYBGOON
@TheYBGOON 4 жыл бұрын
tanner sittser move arms/legs faster. You could start to lift front wheel before you reach the tops of the jumps. Then pushing down hard on the downside. Practice more body movement on the bike. Find a rhythm section. Start 5m from the start of the section. Pedal to the first jump and pump the rest. Exit with more speed than you started. If to easy start closer and use less pedals.

What do you do when you have a race where you're not in a good mindset, and your reactions are slow, therefore the race is terrible, how do you handle it
@BMXTraining

Andy & Suzie Rawlins everybody has an ideal performance mind state consists of particular emotions and thoughts (which influence your state). You need to access this, write it down and then anchor it before you get into the gate.

Hmmm, I guess "rolling the gate" isn't illegal anymore. I'm seeing this technique all over these new riders. For those who don't know, that is when you roll back a little and roll over the gate. A whole lot happens at this point, preload the quads for starters. It makes for explosive starts and was illegal back in my day. I wonder when this technique was deemed legal again? Signed, The Human Dragster......no, not Tommy Brackens......the other Human Dragster....peace!

Eddie Adventure 🧐 old gate system the roll backs were insane. This is nothing like roll backs. The gate drops so quickly and it’s random. If you rolled back like pre 2000s on a new gate it would be pure luck if you timed it right. Guess you’ve not been on a random gate otherwise you’d understand

We called it “slingshotting” but when the random gate came out. Just snap when you first hear the beeps, and my audio reaction time was timed to the point where the front tire just BARELY meets the top 1/3 of the gate. So if your reaction time was too fast, bumping that gate and spinning rear tire hurt pretty good lol
