"Every bullet has a lawyer." He said it as an offhand comment, but that may be the most profound thing I've heard all week. It makes you realize that just because you do something for the right reasons, that doesn't mean you wont have to answer for your actions; all the more reason to train hard and train smart.

But in a way he's using that as a way of justifying the knife throw rather than using a firearm, when in reality there are not very many instances of innocents being harmed by a bullet that passed through a person. (I don't know of any personally) It's not that you shouldn't take it into consideration but it still isn't enough to justify using a throwing knife as opposed to a sidearm in my opinion. Hit your target and you most likely won't be harming anyone else with that bullet.
@MH3GL
@MH3GL 3 жыл бұрын
@Hui Kai perhaps - most likely it does. But the precluding questions are: Why is a bullet being fired in the first place? If YOU don't fire the bullet, will YOUR family be the one that's grieving instead?

This is easily one of the best videos explaining the philosophy behind combative knife throwing I've seen. The purpose of throwing a knife is not to necessarily end a fight outright, but to give yourself an advantage over your opponent before transitioning to your next course of action.
@chriscan2571
@chriscan2571 3 жыл бұрын
My thoughts exactly. A knife was only a tool I could use if I could not draw or or in a clinch. But with this you can open the gap and create distance. We'll I have some work to do.

The next course of action will be for you to get stabbed with your own knife. If you don’t end the fight instantly, you run the risk of your opponent using the adrenaline dump to stab you to death with the knife you just gave him. Additionally, i’m sure for most egomaniacs here, it will be hard to hear, but you’ll probably miss or shank the release due to a lack of training in stressful environments. This is a bad joke, and if you think you’re badass enough to go throwing knives in a combat situation, you’ll be a dead clown. Good luck, Warriors and train smart!
@junichiroyamashita
@junichiroyamashita 3 жыл бұрын
@@masonthorpe7327 well,we don't know until we try,it is not just a matter of throwing a knife,but anything at hand. The first very effective human weapons were thrown stones,the size of a baseball. Also,in the few feet that separes us from our target there could be anything,a room full of furniture,uneven terrain,a hole,they could even be higher than us. Also,it isn't necessarily a gunfire context,it may be everything.

Over the last twenty five years I have scanned illi🎉strations in book's and watched a hand full of video's that explained several different method's of throwing knives and none of which explained the simple and logical concepts like this guy . I started throwing knives about twenty five years ago after seeing two pictures in a book that featured the how to's of throwing knives , hatchet's , spear's , and several other types of thing"s that are thrown. One of the two pictures showed the correct way to hold a knife when throwing by the blade and the other by the handle . Those two pictures were the first and the last instrucion's I would ever recieve . However simple these picture's where , they both showed that there is no wrist action when throwing a knife . So for the better part of the next two year's I threw a lot and eventually figured it out on my own . This guy explains knife throwing almost exactly how I would and have . Im so glad I watched this video . Watch this guy , he knows what he is talking about . Thank you and I will be following you evedent

**UPDATE BROKEN TIPS** Mr. Jason had his manufacture reach out and send replacements for both the baby tooth and the full size. I gave them some full speed throws with zero discrepancies! Looks like this will be the knife to own boys. Any company that stands by their product like that wins my approval! Thanks Geoff for reaching out and fixing the issue. I personally love the quality of the sheath and the fit in hand of the handle. I’ve made consistent throws at 12 & 21 feet. My 14 year old son and 12 year old daughter have both made repeatable throws with these knives as well. I don’t think you’re going to want to go cheaper, I recommend buying the right tool the first time and this would be it!

Your language may be a contribution to the problem. We have a number of “rights.” But until about 3 decades ago Freedom was one monolithic thing that could not be divided or parsed up into little less important things. And indeed “only freedom can account for freedom!” Therefore it stinks of the absolute. So, best to be careful-especially when the thing under discussion is so terribly important-Liberty being the central term in our American Trinity: Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. Spiritually Freedom is the End. Politically Liberty is a condition than without which no Journey to higher things can be undertaken, eh? JWC

When I first started I burst the keeper on the end of the handle that held the leather rings tight on for grip.🤣😂 Later though, I won more bets than I lost cutting quarter sized aluminium tags on poles. I think the secret to this is just practice. I used to be pretty good at it a long time ago now, but to me a lot of it was judging distance and knowing how many rotations a throw is going to have. If you are in close you can do no spin throws, but they have generally less force if you are being accurate when you get 9 to 10 feet out like he said.

Evan should be mandatory in every video just for a little extra comedic relief. As if John isn’t enough 😂😂😂

Love this community, I just discovered you guys! Honestly needed to discover this today, been feeling alone in my convictions & interests lately, and this is awesome to find. I’m a big fan of Louder with Crowder, the Daily Wire, and Blaze TV, but this is different and so great!
