i just bought and got the proline mx43 hell ya they look great the tires will stay on no glue love it hate glue and im putting the castle 2028 6s for now haha i had it for a year still brand new just keep buying upgrade parts but this winter im going to build it i like stupid fast its not a toy its a beast

Great to the point video. Your Maxx is looking good man! What motor set up are you running? I have 2 6s Maxx's and was going to hop up one. I got the second Maxx sealed box on ebay for $600 a few weeks ago lol. Yep thats why I decided to hold off on 8s the price difference and I don't need to buy 4s batteries and a charger for them either big swing in price saved :-)

Thanks, I converted mine right to 8s when they were first released. My son has a 6s and the castle xlx system i run in mine is a monster in comparison. I would much rather take a cheaper 6s and upgrade it with the best parts and have an 8s monster over buying a stock 8s.

Looks like the badlands did slightly balloon themselves. Id like to see them behind a big brushless motor.

Glenn Edward- I'm running the castle XLX system.... this is a big brushless motor. I got rid of all the stock traxxas electronics as soon as I removed it from the box.

You should make comparison with NEW traxxas and proline tire. Traxxas one have hole in it...

This is not a fair comparison.... You can't put a USED tire up against a new, more expensive tire. Most likely this guy bought new tires because his stock tires were going bad already. So while I have also heard that these tires don't balloon as much, this comparison is not a good one.

Oh it's a fair comparison. These tires though dirty were not old. The 6 s tires were terrible when it came to ballooning. The 8s tires improved on that issue but if you look at my other comparison video it's shows a brand new traxxas 8s tire also ballooning badly.

Don Winn- yes it is, it says 6s tire right at the beginning of the video and in the description. I don't have an 8s, but if you would like to donate one I'll do a test comparison.

i kinda skipped through the video :) , but those are indeed awesome tires...i will own a set soon. Any temp issues ? Im hearing they're quite a bit heavier.

Don Winn- no issues at all. They are about 8oz heavier per tire. not a huge difference.
