I also bought some items from wish. That tray was one of them and I also felt I was scammed. Then I found how it works and it's pretty good, actually. Thumbs up, Cav. 👍👍
@jshinan2 жыл бұрын
If you press hard in the middle, it will pop, and it will launch the coin you secretly put on the middle upwards, and it will look like that the coin from your hand went through the glass, and you secretly actually do a French drop, or any move to get the coin to your opposite hand, and do the rest of the stuff. (You will need a glass cup, and 2 identical coins as well for it to work).
@jshinan2 жыл бұрын
By the way, I also think that the tray was pretty expensive for the price.

For the wire- you can use a lighter For the coin through glass- you need to push on the middle of the tray to make it click, put a little coin in the middle, and then a bigger coin covering it. Put a glass on the tray, and when you push on the glass it will click the tray and the coins will jump and it will look like it went through the glass. You arent missing a part :)
@CavanBooth13 жыл бұрын
Yeah, the coins were advertised as being included, but weren't! So as a package, pretty useless :( Also... didn't think of the lighter idea but WOW I will deffo use that!

I just use 2 duplicate standard coins... I try to match the years, but even that isn't really needed unless you're going to call attention to it. That is a bummer they screwed you on the coins, but the trick should still work with any same denomination coins you have on hand that will fit.
@NickvonZ3 жыл бұрын
"I have a rather large package!" Not very humble, are we? Hahaha! 😄 With the pan thing...... push down the center, then put a coin on it. Put an upside down glass on it, and it causes a pop up effect. Something like that. A friend gave me one a few years ago. I still have it. Don't exactly remember the details. Might make a nice ashtray for smokers, or a pan for snacks for a cat. And PLEASE.... Only count ONE comment per person! Some folks try to " LOAD THE DICE". Not fair and not cool!

The kinetic coaster is done with a dime penny or scotch and soda or similar gimmick. Which ever one disappears in your gimmick you place a duplicate of it under another coin onto dish that has been set to pop up. Seriously just flex it a little and you will see that there is a position that when you press down it pops up. No other way to say it. Cover the secret dime with a quarter, put a glass inverted over it, and then on the bottom of the glass put your dime penny. Use magicians choice to give them the free choice to make the dime pass through. Nest the dime penny, and when you press to lock it the quarter inside the glass pops up revealing the dime. I have a three phase routine of coin in glass and this is the middle part. Honestly, a pretty nifty gimmick. I think we will have to zoom for me to properly explain, so hit me up.

For the dish: put a large coin like a 2p on top of a small coin like a 20p and pop the dish through (it pops slightly) then get a glass and put it over the dish. Then get another 20p and push it through the glass and palm it. The dish pops back with the pressure and the 20p appears from under the 2p and it looks like it’s gone through

I think the metal tray from Wish Magic is used as a coin tray, which allows you to change the coins on the tray for coins which are loaded under the tray. There should be a slot to load the coins under the tray, and to dump the different coins out into your hand- "a change coin tray". HA, HA, HA.

You actually got some half decent stuff 😲 How much did you pay for that knock off 'Raven'? God damn it sounded loud though 😲 Really Surprised you haven't seen the 'memory wire' before, seen Craig Petty used it a fair bit. It's available in all the online stores in different outcomes. Best way to perform it is leave it on the table or in an envelope before you start, force the matching card and do your routine. Then remind the spectator the wire has great instinct and knew what you were going to pick. You then take a lighter and gently heat the wire and in front of their eyes it will nice and slowly curl itself into their card. Can also do a routine where a card is forced.. Lost in the deck etc and you then tell them inside this envelope I made a prediction... Pull it out and explain how it's all gone wrong and it must have forgot what you picked... Then explain sometimes it's a little sleepy & slow on the colder evenings so you will just help it warm up... Can have them pinch the end of the wire and send their card to the wire using their psychic abilities. Then slowly heat the wire that only they are handling and it will reveal itself in their own hands. From the envelope you can actually have them open it. Act confused how it hasn't worked and then heat it... This way looks absolutely magical as you NEVER even touch the flat piece of wire in front of them... They do all the work and are left with a lovely little souvenir to take home. They usually come in multi packs so they can be handed out and kept, not sure exactly on UK pricing but even for 65p for one (unless you got a few in the pack?) it's still a really decent price to be able to leave people with, especially if doing a paid gig... Just add on to your fee the cost to give them away. Same thing as with the 'Cube in jar'... The replacement ones are like £9 and the price goes down the more you buy... Say you have 10-15 tables and want to leave every table with a keepsake.. It's perfect and you give the booker the option of if they want people to have something to take away.. Can show them what it is and then just add it on to your fee... Even able to up charge it a little. Or for a large event like wedding etc... Leaving the tables with the memory wire is great.. And then leave the top table with a couple of the cubes in jars. Keeps prices low when there are lots of tables and leaves the top table feeling pretty special 👌🏼 I love tricks that leave you with something really unique at the ending... And something that you can buy multiple packs of spares at a good price to give out. Just takes your professionalism to the next level and leaves people with a gift they won't forget.. Also good to leave it with a business card so next time they need a magician and look at the cube in the jar, you will be the first they call. In this same round of thinking.. You can also have a reveal on the back of your business card or hidden within the front... Can then leave them with this as a keepsake. If you get 10-15 of say 20 different card values printed. Make sure you know what order you have them in so in that way you can repeat the trick for every table with a different card value reveal. Hope this little bit of advice helps someone out there step up the gain and leave the customers with something they won't forget 👌🏼
