I love that we're back to side legendaries having little mysterious quests you have to go on to encounter them. The Ruinous quartet really remind me of the Regis in that sense.

The lore behind these legendary beasts is SO FUCKING METAL. They’re essentially sacred relics that became tainted with the sins of humanity until they became sentient creatures and massacred an entire ancient kingdom overnight.

Because this is a children's game it's very easy to forget that pretty much every Pokemon could cause mass genocide if they felt like it and the Legends could level an entire city if they wanted to, with some of them easily being able to destroy the entire world. Pokemon are basically demi gods.

@ppvsonicspy And then of course some being literal gods, or Arceus just being straight up god

5:10 that transition from melody to base is friggin' *flawless.* Hits like a truck 😎

I love how you switch your emphasis from verse to verse - first you play along with the baseline, then when it's established you let the game music do that and play your own embellished melody on top or intertwined with it - but then you go back to the base and let the original melody take over and strengthen the base underneath it again.

This and black/white's legendary themes are my favorite. You playing along was fire, love it!

Electric guitar in the Phrygian dominant scale is insane

I can't believe how much cooler you made the song sound just by adding an electric guitar with it.

gamefreak kinda missed the memo here. they´re supposed to be the calamity quartet, not the super amazing song dancing quartet. still give it at least a 9/10

Why do I always think of a belly dancer when I hear this song
