In 1955 the average grade for Columbia University’s undergraduates was a C+. In 2023 the average grade was a A-. Hmmmmm. Really elite? A lot of students not working that hard.

I’m sure your grandparents said the same thing during the Vietnam War protests, maybe the Civil Rights Movement. I’m sure your parents said the same thing during the South African apartheid protests. No change is made without protest. Would love to discuss more though as I assume you disagree

Go live a happy life in America and enjoy yourself in this awesome free country. Get a hobby or a nice job.

@@gibleticus6529 Well, 1) South African Apartheid did not have a tangible day to day effect on the US. But 2) this certainly does have an effect on us. We are the financial sponsors of this conflict in Israel/Palestine. It is not happening without my tax dollars

The most privileged among us. Have any students gone to Palestine to help? Is using women and children as human shields a war crime? Why do leaders of Hamas live in other countries and have huge sums of money in bank accounts? There needs to be peace, I agree with that part you're not being realistic.

Glad I am at community college where my fellow students are sane and choose to voice their concerns in more orderly fashions. Its absolutely crazy, and I genuinely would not feel safe on campus regardless of my opinions on the issue

They want Divestment...then let us begin by Divesting in these schools. List the name of companies that do business with this school. Food supplies, Maintenance supplies, School supplies, Lab supplies.
