watching you just inspired me even more to just go outside and shoot more ... it doesn't matter if you have a good camera or bad just shoot with what you have and create ...... because till now I've been complaining that a don't have a camera and only have old point and shoot camera but now seeing that you can shoot awesome videos even with a toy camera .... i am so inspired 😍

I really love these new challenges. Shifting focus away from the camera and instead on the person and their story shows the passion these photographers (and videographers) put into their trade. What they can do with a crap camera is just the cherry on top. Can't wait for the next one!

At 6 minutes in I hoped it wasn't the end of the video. What followed after was amazing. It really opened up the possibility of a new hobby for me. "Art is not supposed to be perfect, art is supposed to be real". This video and Brandon taught me that I don't need a great camera to create great things. I've learned so much from this that it almost acts as a fuel for me to pursue camerawork more seriously.

Yikes it is like taking an Olympic runner and fusing his legs together then asking him to compete. This is funny and cruel at the same time. The end results show his skill at saving garbage footage. Masterful.

This video is SO engrossing; I really enjoyed the challenge aspect, but also the documentary and interview elements that ran along parallel, solidified by some outstanding camera work! Edit: Genuinely one of the most impressive edits I've seen, interesting how stripping back the equipment allows the camera movement to really shine. -gd call on the retro vibe too.

basically what I do, get a lot of random shots in different perspective, then go through deleting garbage, and finally cutting 1-2 seconds from each approved shot and making 3 minutes out of 10 hour footage in total.
