Have a pair, agree with everything you’ve said, only negative is the stiff feeling that it gives to your basketball shoes, it doesn’t negate the advantages of zoom, but that bouncy cushiony feeling won’t be the same.

Lukas, try this in the gt hustle 2, obviously these insoles make the shoe heavier, but with the hustle having no shank, letting the VKTRYS substitute for that shank might fix the support issues and even still have a ultra lightweight feel since there’s not exactly a shank to add any extra unneeded weight.

That sounds like a great idea! I hate that there’s no shank in the gt hustle as it’s just not supportive enough for me. I’ll definitely give it a try as I love everything else about the shoe

My son jumped so high with them that he fell and broke his limbs. He can't walk anymore. Still recommand this insoles very durable.

Thanks man! That’s exactly why I also did the tests and didn’t just talk about how I feel about them because I wanted proof that they actually work and that my feeling was correct. I’ll see if I can get them as well!

I beg to differ on what you said about the long jumping not really important in basketball. You actually need that if you are building momentum in your jump especially when you are going to the basket for a finish. These results just show that it will definitely help your athleticism and explosiveness and not just give you that marginal 1-2 inches of vert. Dunkers will definitely benefit from the insoles.

Fair enough I see where you’re coming from! I just said it’s not as important as even when building momentum you still want to jump as high as possible and not as long imo. But definitely also shows that the insoles can help if!

@@ls_hoops yeah I got you. If a dunker wears these insoles, he will be the next Greek Freak lol. That's how crazy it propels you forward. if these are used by those shifty guards who want to finish faster to the basket I could definitely tell that they will jump faster to the basket which helps in their strong finish especially when going for layups and they'll definitely help them go for double clutch layups like Kyrie always do because of longer jumps. Dunkers will have more significant results in their vert because they exert more powerful force from the ground and the more powerful they exert force on the insole the bigger the springboard effect they'll yield. Great review by the way. Very objective right from the start. You could actually make some science-based basketball stuff!

I wouldn’t recommend using them in drop in midsole shoes as the drop in midsole is an essential part of the shoe.

I only tried them with the Tatum 1 so far and it felt pretty much the same as with the regular foam insoles. Maybe a bit firmer

I personally haven't used these in particular, but any kind of shank or stiff insole will actually give you a better energy return from your zoom units, the shank loads the zoom unit when you push off and then it springs back giving even more bounce than the zoom unit would give without it, maybe you would feel the zoom unit less under foot but the energy return would be higher which means more bounce.

So you would rather waste energy and not give your shoes more support? I do agree that you don’t need them in some shoes that have good support features or even a carbon fiber plate. But shoes like the GT Hustle or Tatum 1 have awefull support and would benefit highly from the VKTRY insoles. Can’t speak about them hurting your feet, didn’t have a problem but that can happen of course just how it happens with some shoes for some people as well
