Actually, I watched a lot of the early Live-streams of this game with Mike J. In fact, I was the one who suggested he put a banner on the top of the screen, stating that Rick Hunter is not in the game, to get people to stop asking about it, because Jesus Christ did people not stop f*cking asking about it. Anyways, in that livestream, it’s stated that Rick was a.) Busy with a radio job, meaning he had less time to voice act, and b.) They actually didn’t want to call him back, because after Postal 3, they view their reputation as so poor, that they didn’t want to taint Rick’s reputation any further. Oh, and that also applies to Corey Cruise. They just didn’t want to f*cking tarnish his reputation any further after Postal 3.

I actually really like JSJ as El Dude Postal in this game. It took some time for it to grow on me too, but I think all three of the Dude’s VAs brought something to the table. It’s like different interpretations of a marvel character across different comic series.
