The draw tool is for drawing around the visual wave form of a reference track and then copy that onto your track and make sure your track is im line as close as possible to the that drawn line. If your wave form is peaking past the drawn line then obviously your track is not in line with the reference track. I'm pretty sure you can save and load EQ setting and load those up as needed.

Nothing will substitute soothe 2. It has solidified itself as a premier tool. Some will come close but they won’t replace soothe2 👍🏽
