Series 3 is my favorite bait. I never go fishing without one.

The small cranks in the OSP Blitz lineup, Megabass Super Z 1 & 2, and various balsa small balsa cranks are my favorites. The Bandit 200, Strike King Series 3 and Norman Baby N's are also solid. I live in Shreveport/Bossier area and actually split most of time between the Red and Caddo. Cranking, of all sorts, is my go to way to fish for most of the year.

I have the Dobyns 704 glass rod and it works great on Bandit 200, small balsa and DT6. Awesome small crankbait rod.

Red river- splatterback clearer water, Parot in muddy water in Bandit 200. Rock levee ends in summer and willow timber in spring that changes current. You were lucky to grow up learning on the Bend that knowledge has served you well.

My 2 favorite finesse crankbaits are a #5 shad rap and a strike king 1.0 square bill.

The Jackall MC60 MR was re-introduced onto the market for a reason. Pity Ghost Minnow is still discontinued but is so effective in Lake Mead's clear water.

Bandit 200 in Mad Cow is a poison pill in Arkansas. I can't find them anymore but would take any tips on where to go.

I grew up throwing a size 6 Rapala shad rap and I caught fish on it. But I have to admit I don't fish crankbaits much anymore I prefer to throw swim jigs and swimbaits.

Would the Hybrid Hunter Jr be considered a mid-depth finesse? Cranking in Florida is more difficult with all the vegetation.
