I honestly wouldn’t worry about it, we had a couple of older guys as well as some that weren’t that fit, everyone just goes at their own pace, if there’s an obstacle you can’t tackle, just move round it and take a small time penalty. Being fit is definitely a good thing, but just come down and enjoy it regardless, that’s what it’s all about.

There was supposed to be another one happening this year but so far I’ve heard nothing about it, so I imagine it’s been cancelled. There are other clubs in the UK that may be offering similar style competitions soon.

The centrefire rifles were club guns for this one. Not sure if that will change going forwards though, it would certainly be nice if you could bring your own

Pre-positioned rifles for the fullbore were I think to simplify and speed it all up
