This is great information that can be used for anybody Renovating old properties. I invest in Trenton NJ, where the neighborhoods are the same and row homes are built the same way. My family is looking into investing in Baltimore and I stumbled upon this video. Can you refer some neighborhoods to buy into in Baltimore?

The best neighborhoods really depends on your budget and strategy. There is a big difference between Belair-Edison and Fells Point. Yet both are good buy and hold options for very different reasons. Also areas like Lauraville will be great long term properties and same with Edgewood. But your client tenants will likely have very different backgrounds. So its really tough to give an answer to that in such a blanket way

@@DevinMorenoInvesting I gained interest because my wife cousin told us about home prices at $1,000 to $5000 range. She said they are mostly buy and hold but I would want an area to buy for that price and renovate. My budget would be all in at $30,000. Is that possible?

Hello. First, I would like to say that this is great information. I do have a question for Mark Owens as someone who is ready to get started in Real Estate Investing. When he was starting out, what financing strategy did he use to purchase properties? Did he start with a live-in renovation, use private lenders, or traditional financing?

I never though about the dishwasher and garbage disposal. Interesting. I wonder if he ever was to sell one of his rentals if he were to put in a dishwasher?

Generally we leave a space for the dishwasher but dont actually put it in while we rent it. That way when we sell we can easily put one in

I do not put refrigerators with ice makers in my units either. An icemaker in the refrigerator is another repair.

He does only sparsely with small class sizes and he annouces it randomly. But contact him on his website and ask for when he is available
