Thank you so much for the video! I’ve been an ableton user for 10 plus years for live performances. I’ve always wanted to learn pro tools since it seems to be the industry’s standard for recording and music production so I started my year subscription yesterday. File management is absolutely critical. How you go about saving things in pro tools is quite different compared to ableton. Thanks again for taking the time to do this video!

Hi, great channel could you explain the difference between save or save as and where do they go?

I like your videos, just a friendly suggestion...i think more people will connect with you if you have at least some facetime on camera at beginning, or end, or both. (Or some also have PIP during the tutorial too)

True but sometimes you just want to turn the mic on and go. No need to fix hair, put on makeup, etc

I do have a question with this. I created a new session, but has no audio. I noticed it did not create 1:09 Audio Files or any of the other folders. Is this because there is no audio? This with 2023.12 version.

Yeah, that's why! You might notice that some of the folders are created when you open the session, and then if you don't use them, the folders are removed when you close the session. Once you import audio properly, for example, you should see that folder in your session folder.
