Swiftspear is so fast, it comes into play before the mountain used to cast it.

How do they play when camerman are snapping and everyone is staring? I'd screw up constantly when everyone is staring at me and lots of other people are depending on me to win.

wait, how is he able to assign blockers and tap them for stoke on the rabble master at the same time?
@veggie889 жыл бұрын
+Damien O'Riley When you tap your blockers they come out of combat and the attackers have no combat targets so they deal no damage. Very basic strategy.
what happened to the deflecting palm i saw him drop a card so can someone tell me what actually happened
@diendoftime45979 жыл бұрын
darius mcmanus he took back the deflecting palm(the card he dropped into his hand cards) since he don't have the correct mana to cast it after the judge spots his error

Potentially better/different line of play at the final play in the 3rd game there (Not that it changed it much with pain lands in relation to the deflecting palm but he could of had negate or something, so this is purely for the best play discussion): Brad DOES NOT chain to the rocks the mantis and attacks with 3 goblins, Parke will block 1 and he will take 2. (It is safe to assume he wouldn't drop to 2 and increase the % of spells/sources that can kill him) Parke is now at 3. Brad then uses Searing Blood on the Mantis Rider and with the damage from the Goblin will cause it to die and potentially hit the 3 damage which is lethal to Parke. The reason this seems better is because if Parke then casts negate or a deflecting palm (lets assume painlands are irrelevant) on the Searing Blood (either counter or the damage to him) on the stack you can lightning srtrike for lethal with him 100% tapped out. Anyway great game, gratz to Brad for winning. Please note, I am not trying to say Brad is bad, I think he is a great player just discussing the possible plays for the purpose of discussion/working out the best plays.
@devonknapp916810 жыл бұрын
Brad realized that but he's like me he likes to punish them for the miss plays and burn them out for the win. At least that's what I think but you're right kind of.
@Youhavetoloveirony10 жыл бұрын
I mean, I am only looking at the best line of play, in the "just in case" "% plays" type way, in that game it might of not mattered though.

Convoke, it allows you to effectively use your creatures for mana. You can tap a creature to gain a colourless or one of its colour, for the purpose of casting the convoke spell.
