PRO WIZZAIR TIPS for a 5 hour flight from BUDAPEST to ABU DHABI

How to survive a 4-5 hour long Wizzair flight? In this video I am listing some pro tips on how to fly wizzair like a true budget traveler. I am flying from Budapest (BUD) to Abu Dhabi (AUH) with a wizz A321neo.
Where to sit? How to change your seats? Did you know that a duty-free bag is always free of charge to bring up to the cabin on wizzair?
All these tips can save you money!

I just did a trip from Rome on Wizz air to Abu Dhabi. Then took Cebu Pacific to Manila from Dubai. Total cost round trip was 240 Euros! Cheap way to get to asia. Once in Manila went to some islands and enjoyed the beach. Then took a cheap round trip flight to Tokyo. Cheapest way to get to Asia !

I recently took 5h Wizz air flight to Tenerife and it was very enjoyable experience. Basic ticket was 90€ return. Booked an isle seat, so I could stretch my legs without standing up. Flight was delayed ~ 1/2 hour in both directions. But this is to be expected since Wizz flies on such a tight schedule. The biggest problem though would be canceled flight or big delay on a connected flight. It would be a mess to reclaim all the cost. That is why I always insure the complete trip, including stay and tickets.

It should be checked in the bag if it’s over 100ml. (If under 100ml you can bring it)

Great tips! I get t charged a admin fee on top of my air fare - is this normal? Also, can you describe the duty free bag you use to carry food etc is it just an empty carrier bag?

Duty free bag is usually what you get after your purchase at the airport duty-free shop. Yes it’s like an empty carrier bag. Yes! You always have to pay an administration fee, it’s usually 10€ for a ticket, but it’s always included in the ticket price.

Appreciate your reply. I’ve been charged an extra admin charge on top of my fare which was only disclosed after payment and shown on my receipt? Oh got you on the duty free bag - so have to but something to get the bag (assumed this was free).

Hat nem tudom, 5 ora wizz airen... Mi nemsokara Alicanteba megyunk SAS businessen, es az is 4 ora Skandinåviåbol, de europai businessen is az economy seat van.

Hát igen, a Sas businessen még a felszolgalas is csak valami kis mennyisegu etel, muanyag dobozban és egy doboz csoki. De legalabb nagyobb lesz a labter.

@@budapestspotter Igen, reggelinek nem is lehetett a gyerkøcnek se vålasztani, vlszleg neki is ez a doboz lesz, amibe hozzåk a reggelit, viszont visszafele ebedidøben jøvunk, akkor mår lehetett kerni child mealt. Egyebkent nyåron repultunk ARN-BCN szinten SAS businessen (S.Plus), es adtak ketszer is enni, måsodjåra lehetett vålasztani a Menu on Board-bol. Does anybody know what is going on with wizz air website I try to book a flight from dubai to Budapest, Athens anywhere in fact, but it slyly tries to sell me only a flight from Abu Dhabi instead. What the heck has dubai got to do with Abu Dhabi?. I nearly bought one by mistake it's madness! Any help greatly received? My girlfriend also so confused with it.

Yes, you really have to pay attention to the departing airport name when booking from Abu Dhabi or Dubai. They have a very weird schedule. To Athens they always fly from Abu Dhabi. To Budapest, the flights are vary day by day. And wizzair supposed to have a shuttle bus service between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, but I never heared that it’s actually working. If you want to fly from Dubai make sure to buy your ticket to Budapest (they fly to Dubai every 2 or 3 days)

Hi! The bus is not free. A lot of pages say it’s free and included in the ticket price but its not. It costs 35AED and it’s operated by RTA. (You need to check the RTA website for this bus info)

Can anyone give me a link to Wizzair "welfare"? This company (I don't have words to call them) sent me a letter in response to my complain asking to write a complain in their "welfare" section. But there is no such section on their webpage and the search shows nothing! I'm going to sue them but I cannot send them a complain before that. They denied me to get on board to Bulgaria, though I have an opened Shengen visa. I lost thousands euro because of that. I got no any written explanation. I was driven out with nothing. And I cannot complain on their webpage because it is impossible!
