Thank you! Having flown RyanAir and EasyJet, I'm curious about Wizz Air. At 6'3", I'm not sure that I can do the 28-inch seat pitch for five hours. I enjoy the 32" seat pitch of Emirates, and Qatar Airlines at 31" seat pitch is my minimum now. The price has to be very, very good for me to try it. I may recommend it to my budget-minded friends of shorter stature.

I took this flight myself and even have the take-off on my channel. I have to say, it might not be comfortable but it surely makes a Dubai trip affordable considering that cheap accommodation is already available and you can get half the price of Emirates if you go with Wizz.

I must say that I very much miss Malév. I've taken Wizz Air a couple of times and it's fine for a low-cost carrier. But flying Malév was...well...more dignified! :)

Honestly I think that installing the "standard" seat configuration on a long haul flight is not a really good choice, probably it's very uncomfortable, probably you are fine without entertainment and it's fine but the space is so small for such a long flight. It has to be very very cheap for choose Wizz Air instead of Etihad.

You have to do the online checkin. (If you don’t do it you have to pay 40€) And after you did the online checkin, you still have to lineup in the line for covid documents check.

Hello! You need to go to the checkin to get your boarding pass. You have to do check-in online and then they will print a boarding pass for free, after the covid documents check.

How does it work with the checked baggage? Is it enough to book the auto check in?

If you have a checked baggage you have to queue in the line regardless the auto check-in. The rules were changed last week because Dubai don’t require covid tests anymore.

It depends on your nationality. For most of the nationalities you do not need a transit visa. Where are you from?

You probably won’t get your boarding pass online and you need to go outside for checkin to get a boarding pass for the wizzair flight. And yes you need a transit visa (it’s free) but you need to apply for it.

Yes. Did you give your email adress properly? But if you have the PNR (confirmation code) there’s no problem. You can access the booking with that anytime and ask for a new email. So no problem if you don’t have the email, you can modify everything with the PNR code.

Airplanes & trains are getting narrower / narrower thru decades now ! My mom is claustrophobic ,but still flies o.k. for short terms. You should not use budget airlines ,then ! Airtickets ,hotel fees are final unless you pay extra for a " free cancelation" ! You need to keep checking your phones ,or computers for any delay & cancelation as your dates approache !! This hasn't changed for decades !! But,nowadays we've got 📱 to do it ,so that makes it easier ( supposedly ! ) ! Although ,inconveniences like technical difficulties & glitch happen ! 💜🥁🐉🎤🎶✈️💞

Can anyone give me a link to Wizzair "welfare"? This company (I don't have words to call them) sent me a letter in response to my complain asking to write a complain in their "welfare" section. But there is no such section on their webpage and the search shows nothing! I'm going to sue them but I cannot send them a complain before that. They denied me to get on board to Bulgaria, though I have an opened Shengen visa. I lost thousands euro because of that. I got no any written explanation. I was driven out with nothing. And I cannot complain on their webpage because it is impossible!

I'm surprised that Budapest to Dubai is just 5h, while Abu Dhabi to Belgrade is 6 hours. And one thing I don't like, is that there are some passengers that use to eat, from their own pocket, during the flight. This shouldn't be allowed by the crew members. It should be like in restaurant, you don't put on the table your own food. It's annoying and disgusting for other passengers. Nobody will starve to death by not eating during a 5,6 hours flight.

Hi! Flying from East to West is always longer. Abu Dhabi to Budapest also takes 6 hours. But if you check on flightadar24 for example, the Belgrade to AbuDhabi only takes 4 hours 50 minutes every day. (Because it’s West to East)

OK, you rarely see Wizz plane on jetbridge stand and no video entertainment, no food/bev included. However food/beverages are also a very optional on the over glorified Emirates, sometimes they just do not come and serve anything, and they blame the weather. The old trick, seatbelts sign on, crew strapped in, plane flies calmly no single bump, but they save on the beverages. Little bit overpriced for a video player, very slowly prepaired onboard meal and very optional 2 cans of beer.
