I love the cardboard tube tip! will definitely be using that. Also, I love this project, I will mod to extend the lining and have the drawstring go just through the lining, so that it cinches better and the bag can be just that much longer with the weaving.

I like the idea of lashing the second side of the warp to the apron bar instead of tying directly to it. Much less wasteful.

Wow. A marvel of engineering. Not sure how you figured all that out but I can’t wait to make my own! ❤ PS I learned how to do my knots on the front beam from you (using the length of yarn) and it’s hands down the best and easiest way to get even tension. I’ll never go back to tying the warp directly to the beam. Thank you!! Edit: I finally made 2 bags out of my wonky first ever weaving and they turned out lovely!

Fantastic demonstration. I have only found your channel yesterday. To date, I have only used wool and teaching myself how to spin and weave, so I am looking fo.'rward to trying out cotto n and smaller projects. Your explanations are excellent and you make the seemingly complicated designs in your weaving project (tea towels) look much easier and doable. Thank you for sharing your skills.

What a lovely project! To prevent the ribbons from fraying, you can melt the ends with a lighter (since the ribbon is polyester).

Thank you so much for this! I’m off recovering from ankle surgery and have been learning weaving. This seems like something I can actually do! I’ve been a little nervous about warping the loom, but this makes it seem more doable. I’m excited to check out your other videos!

Thank you! These were recycled cotton from ADA fibres. Unfortunately they were discontinued so I MIGHT have bought heaps. Like a LOT haha. These large cones have lasted so long and I’m going to hate to run out of it!

Great video. I'd like to make a bag like this. And I'm curious what software program you are using the timer app. That would be great in helping plan and execute projects. I love the idea of using a coat rack for warping. I'm going to look for one of those. I always enjoy your videos.
