I was on the pill for 15 years and was diagnosed with PCOS and the doctor warned me about infertility issues. I was single at the time and 33 years old. The doctor basically said I should get on it if I wanted to have children. I was like how the heck, I don’t even have a boyfriend and wasn’t planning on settling down any time soon. Anyway, later on I met my husband, stopped taking the pill and got pregnant immediately when we started trying, and all naturally at the age of 37!? I wish I hadn’t worried so much about the possible infertility. Just wanted to share and tell you not to worry too much ❤

Wise words on relationships. I am older than you, but wanted the wedding, marriage and kids, ect. Did it forced, due to body clock, hope and positive thinking. 10 years later… its toxic as hell and we are heading for divorce. I worry about my children and how this has affected them, so never hope that love will change a person who refuses to change. Find your person that a lines with you. ❤

My moto in life is don't stress it, things will happen when it's right for you! I had my first child at 19, was engaged and we were together for a very long time, and it went nowhere. So here's me in my 30's with 3 children just reliving what i'd missed out on in my 20's! I was 39 when i met my now husband, engaged after 9 months, married after 18 and been together for 6 years and not a single argument has been had! If a man makes you behave in a way that is not how you are, get rid, don't waste time on someone who doesn't bring out the best in you. Luv probs one of your elder subscribers

I am sat here smiling at you talking through the hormonal, boob reduction chats - and that’s not that it’s funny or good to hear the ups and downs but just at how much I can actually relate to you. Keep being real, I love it! I had a boob reduction almost 6 years ago even though I was on my weight loss journey and it was the best thing I ever did. Even though my body has changed ALOT over the past 6 years going through weight loss, weight gain, weight loss, pregnancy.., having my boobs reduced has been life changing!
@rebeccaoconnor87729 күн бұрын
I would second this. I was most of the way through my weight loss journey when I got my reduction. And the reduction itself made me look like I was at my goal weight. I can move quicker and exercise easier. Best thing I’ve ever done!

Please don’t worry about the pill and it affecting your fertility😊 I was the same and was worried that being on the pill would affect that. I was on the pill from 16 years to 25 years. Decided to stop the pill . And then 7 weeks later I was pregnant 😂 the nurse even told me the pill doesn’t affect having a baby so hope that gives you some positive vibes 😁

I ABSOLUTELY FELT when you said being a girl is so hard in terms of birth control. I recently had to get my old iud taken out and a new one put on an it was truly traumatizing I so so wish the responsibility was put on men because the side effects and way it can change you emotionally is so fucking hard and confusingggg!!! I was on the pill for 7 YEARS and once I got off it and got an iud I stopped being anxious and depressed af…🙃 but everyone is different which makes being a girl so hard. Hearing you also have the frustration is so sad but also makes me feel so validated too❤

By the way, Rach, just correcting you in terms of going on the pill for long periods doesn't affect your fertility. But it just means it masks if there are any fertility issues since you're on synthetic hormones. But for you, you already know you have endometriosis which is good to know already! (I'm a doctor)
@rachlearyАй бұрын
yes sorry i didn’t mean the pill itself affects fertility i just meant BEING on it can mask any issues you may have ♥️

This is my worry rn! Been on the pill since I was 15 because I had awful period pain wheee I had to stay off school for days and heavy periods, and was advised it would “make them better”. Now I have no idea if it was all because of some underlying condition and am terrified to come off the pill!

@@StefGalassosame thing here! I want to come off and let my body regulate itself but I’m nervous how my body will react.

@@allthingsbrittanyjust thought to add in here I was on the pill when I was 17 until 21 (I’m now 30) 1. Best thing I did and 2. I didn’t get a period for nearly a year. And they’ve only been regular past few years sometimes I’ll miss a random month but that’s it x

Hey gorgeous, completely feel your struggles with endo / the pill. I’m waiting for surgery as I have it bad on my bowel, ovaries and bladder. It causes so much physical and emotional pain + being on the pill doesn’t help! It helps the symptoms of endo, but I feel so down and anxious on it. After my surgery, I would love to come off it and see how I get on. As you’ve had the surgery which hopefully has helped your symptoms a bit, personally I would come off the pill. Again, this is completely up to you and at the end of the day, you know what’s best for you body! But, I’ve been following Sophie Richards (who has endo) for awhile and she shares amazing tips / diets / natural supplements that can help with endo pain and not being on the pill. Definitely go and give her videos a watch! Sending love 💖💖

Hey hun just be careful what you say around the pill! Being on it for long periods of time doesn’t impact your fertility x
@rachlearyАй бұрын
yes it can?.. if you’re on it for a very long time/not allowed your body to have a natural cycle for a very long time, it can take a long time for your body to adjust back to its natural cycle & the pill might have been masking any issues with ovulating or anything else you naturally have? as you don’t ovulate / have a natural period whilst on it
@mollyduffield3894Ай бұрын
@@rachleary79-96% of women fall pregnant within 12 months of coming off the pill. It can impact your fertility but it’s not a blanket statement to say being on it for a long time does affect it.
