Can a sole beneficiary (surviving spouse, no debts) file for an estate administrator pro se (for one asset)? It's a simple case. Thank you very much for your video.

I can't speak for every court in Texas, but in the Dallas area, I can tell you that the judges interpret the Texas Estates Code as saying that you can't file an application for administration pro se. At our law office, we've actually had several clients who had filed for administration pro se, then the judge told them they needed a lawyer, and then they came to us.
