Great that you are diving into this. I have never used probing from within Fusion 360 because I’ve never been been sure how fusion will know where the material is in the machine to start probing. Do you have to probe with the machine first so you can probe with fusion? Hoping your next videos will explain exactly this. 🤞

Hey Jim. Thanks for the comment. Once you probe your part As usual, then you can use the probing operations in Fusion. They are base on where you set your Zero. Here is the section of the video that talks about that. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eWiyaZ2OeLacbac

Nice vid. 2:35 Why don’t you use the break tool check box in the tool library rather than manual NC way? I prefer this way for tools I always want to check. I have all my small taps set with this on.

Hey Matt! Thanks for the excellent suggestion! Personally, I rarely run production. I only use this option when I’m going inside for the night and running a long program in steel. I can probably bring that out in another video. Thanks again for your comment!
