Same here love the shoes but weak lacing system had same issue (except on fixed side) no luck with adidas I just did what you did works fine. I no longer try to synch them tight as I like but surprisingly enough my foot stays in place no toe jam or movement still super stable without cranking them down. Hope adidas fixes the issue on future versions

The first time i saw that loop lacing system on these , I knew it ,that these wouldn't hold up for sure. Good video anyways. Big up to you 👍🏼❤️.

Do U use it for extreme tennis? I mean I just ordered 1 for fashion wear only 😅 I'd be mindful about this issue tho, thx

Yes, I use mine for competitive tennis. For fashion use I’d say it would be just fine.

great performing shoe on the court best I have worn to date, but lacing system is crap as someone else mentioned one look and you knew they would fail

I had the same issue with my last two Adidas Barricades

Using Asics all my life, I changed to barricade and they are so painful, why adidas made the heel so tall that it rubs and causes blisters on heel and on the inside, I have to use bandaids and two pair of socks

I did just the opposite. I went to ASICS after the Barracades.

hi! I had the new ubersonic 4 from adidas and it was painfull at the play time I don,t recommend that shoes.. at least that was my feelings, then I got the barricade and they are much better and comfy thanks to tell that about the design of the loops and flaw ;D

Like I said, overall I really liked the Barricade. I just didn’t like the loop for the laces. Other than that it was a great shoe.

I think I'd rather buy shoes that work perfectly until they wear out.

Yes agree. I won’t be getting the same shoes next time, unless they have a design change.
