@ArosaMike Жыл бұрын
@@MikkoRantalainen right. So making videos means we should drive without any anticipation. Got it. Tens of thousands see these videos. They set an example for people driving during TF. If people take the attitude that it’s everyone else’s fault and you can send it from 25m back into the apex of a fast corner, then the track will barely be open for anyone to do any laps as it’ll be closed due to accidents. TF is ‘fun’ driving. Not lap times. In this instance, lifting and waiting until after the apex would make no difference to the video. The speed differential between cars up Kesselchen is always going to be huge as it’s a huge gradient. Most ‘normal’ cars will struggle to get much over 150k’s. Save the big sends for trackdays where other drivers are going to be more aware or drive for the novices on the track by not doing crazy dives. If Misha keeps this up he’s going to have a huge accident. I really hope it doesn’t come to that, but given how many times we’re seeing near misses I can’t see how it won’t.

If you are in a slow/slower car, always check your mirrors before taking an apex of a fast corner. Good save by Misha being on the ball and prepared for the potential turn in, but you may not get that lucky every time. It can be shocking if you're not used to it how fast better drivers in higher performance cars can come up on you.

Yeah, that is one of the fastest corners of the track. To go for the apex in a 206 without looking behind is almost suicidal.

@@SuperDi_ It is loosely possible he looked and misread the situation of the closing speeds or that Misha would stay till after that turn. All wrong choices if it was the case, but it is possible he did at least look, as that would be a worse sin if didn't.
@aaarggh Жыл бұрын
You have it the wrong way round. Yes, you should always check the mirrors and indicate to the right to let others safely pass where possible. But it's the obligation of the faster driver closing in from behind to check if they have been seen. If I don't see indicators or other clear signs that a slower car has seen me, I don't overtake. It's as easy as that.
@blackknight1013 Жыл бұрын
@@aaarggh You're not wrong, and in some sections more than others I would definitely wait on a signal or clear intent. However, it is really bad to do what the other guy did in a slow car on a fast section which is why I mentioned that. If he does that consistently he will have a plane level crash on his hands at some point. Mirrors on the road are important, but at least there everyone is normally at similar speeds, on a track with multi-class fields or drivers of different skill and cars of different performances the speed differences can be vast, and more so on a track like this.

The noise is cool as heck and like everyone else I love the Super-Angry-Mode above 8500 rpm, but the things that impressed me most was the grip; Mischa could really hang it right out on the outside and it didn't even think about twitching (New tyres helps of course, but the lack of tyre squeal suggests it still had more grip to give) and the engine pick-up speed; the amount of times Mischa slowed behind another a car and then just walks past as if the other car hit the brakes was mind-melting. Hot hatches you'd expect to leave in the dust, but it looked like nothing could live with it, even 992s. Sure, the drivers may not be on fully-commit laps but still, that thing is insanely fast.

How bad is the damage to the Bilstein BMW from your RCN crash Saturday? Is it repairable for the 12hr or not?

Misha, the Cayman GT4 RS is my absolute favorite of all the Porsches. The previous first is the 928 GTS model. It won't ever be my favorite auto company, though. That honor belongs to Ford. Misha, did you hear about the supercar Mustang GTD as of yet? You'll need to wait more than a year for it to be put into production, though. It's mostly going to ve built up here in Canada, in a shop that is called Multimatic, which will be built in a city named Markham. That city is a part of the GTA. This means that it has the 416 area code. The front tires will be 325 millimeters wide, while the rear set will be 345's. It will be the first ever supercar Mustang not a muscle car. The suspension came from Multimatic. They developed it. They first used it possibly in the Ford GT. Misha, in the event that you're interested in it, type in that browser the words 'Mustang GTD'. After you do that, tap the word videos. There'll be many of them to watch. Enjoy.

With 206 situation how do you brake fully with your left foot? Do you start braking with left foot for inital reaction and then I guess your right foot joins? I have a feeling that with right foot I would have more braking force because im used to it. I get it how you do it for the corners but what is the case with emergency braking?

Been waiting to this for so long. I can’t believe German tuning can achieve this, it’s on a level that I can’t possibly get my head around. I wish when I was a kid I knew about German car culture and tuning, I’d have I different life now. Just love the the level ssr go to, manthey with Bavarian beer added. Also fun fact, walked past there new showroom while it was being built and said “that’s a a machine and a half” referring to the cup car in window not having a clue it what ssrs actual place Love the belt advise, and holy crap that car is planted, also your driving makes me poo myself I will never be able to buy one but that’s the Porsche I would buy
