Thank you for this video Mr Smith. I am just starting my adventure on limbing and bucking, and I usually find myself 2 cuts in before I jam my saw solid in a tree. and spend the next 10 minutes getting it unstuck. I learn each cut though, and like anything else in life, it takes time. Little snippets like this certainly help to see the tree from the outside, and I'll make better decisions as time goes on. I'm going to invest in a camera to set up to watch my cuts as I make them, so I can look at them later on. Who knows, might even throw a couple up here online! LOL! Have a great day everyone!

On the 1st danger tree I've seen folks just do a belly cut straight threw an it swings down. The way you did it seems safer it kept the tree moving at a slower pace. Me I would have had to hook a long log chain to my old chevy at the bottom. And jerk her out that way. Great video 👍
